2 Reviews of the Peakland Pevril
By: Stanley21 Reason: I own(ed) one Made in: 2006 Rating:
I have owned this tent for many years, it has sheltered me countless times on camping missions from the south coast all the way up to the far reaches of Scotland and has stood firm in all manner of weather. The Pevril was purchased from Yeomans in Chesterfield for around £130 and has proved to be money well worth spent, it's quick and easy to pitch and is very spacious but sadly not spacious enough for my family needs now, it is with great regret that I have to upgrade to a larger tent as there are plenty more years left in her. She has never suffered a broken pole, dodgy zip or rip, the colour has not faded and the only sign of her years is a slightly warn ground sheet.

We upgraded to the pevril based on what we needed from a tent and the reviews of other owners. A fabulous tent for the money, 2007 must have been the worst camping weather, yet the tent stood up to pretty much everything thrown at it, we were out in some really bad storms and expected to return to a wrecked tent. It was standing dry and welcoming. Bags of space easy to put up and pack down. About to head to Devon and Somerset for our second outing of 2008 in it, if you want a good value tent for long weekend or a couple of weeks away with plenty of space, this is the one, we love it.
