We use this tent as a party tent it does leak and was only ever advertised as showerproof. We don't use the ground sheet and that makes it a lot lighter for carrying. We use chairs and mats for sitting on as beer spillage would only make things wet so its grass floor for us. We all take our separate tents for sleeping in. This tent cost me £80 in the sale its the best purchase I have ever made thumbs up :)

Well to up-date my review, we used it last weekend, went to a campsite in 'not so good' weather. Well, it hadn't long started to rain, about 20 mins, when the tent started to leak. The leaks came in through the seams. Ran down then and dripped off the toggles for the windows. Which are about 4-5ft up the tent. Which means that you then have puddles about 1-2ft inwards. We checked the hydro-statics on Argos's website and for this tent, it is higher then our old one, which. Didn't leak!

The rain wasn't even the worst rain you could have. About mid-way I would think. Med showers on and off.

We wouldn't have cared but by the time the puddles had formed we had to live in a really small space in the middle of the tent, not, big enough for our air beds let alone the rest of our stuff.

This tent is only good for very fine weather or as a play room in the garden etc!

We used to have a real tipi and loved it, but family expanded and we needed something bigger and easer to move around. So when we saw this we had to buy it. Its perfect, 20 mins and its up, same for packing away. Warm at night, plenty of room. We had 2 double air beds and a single, 1 travel cot, one large table, two adult chairs, two kids chairs and room to store stuff!

Cant think of any probs with it. Although I must add, we havent used it in strong winds and rain yet.

This tent is a real head turner. Very nice to look at and a truly huge amount of space inside.

We have used this tent twice this year. The first outing was to the Isle of Wight. It was raining when we arrived and continued to rain! The site owner was happy for us to use this as a rain shelter so we erected it as a communal shelter (our 'normal' is a khyam xxl). As a gazebo it was rainproof but suffered badly from condensation and the design was excellent at collecting insects in the top!

The next outing was a single night sleepover, we thought what the heck it is only one night. We pitched the tent on a fairly flat site, it took about 20mins to put up and then another 20 tweaking the pegs to get it into a circle. In retrospect this would have been easier with the groundsheet prefitted. With the tent up and groundsheet in it looked very impressive and caused much tent envy! Overnight it was much colder than our Khyam since there is a huge amount of air inside and this doesn't really warm up much with body heat. Our Black cat heater just about raised the temperature.

The sheeting, despite being quite tight does move in the wind, we had 20mi winds and at times it danced about a bit and was draughty inside.

I would not use this tent as a serious holiday tent. The kids love it and for garden sleepovers or parties it is great. I was lucky to buy it half price but at its full price there are much better and more practical tents out there.
