I bought this tent at half the mrp so paid £40 for it.Wouldn't have been happy if I'd paid the full £80! First outing was admittedly with torrential welsh rain in Tal-y-Bont, all the window seams leaked and bedding got soaked! have used it many times since (having put fabsil on ALL seams!) but always with a utility tent for kitchen area as really you can only stand up in a small middle area of tent and if you had 4 people in there - no room for cooking equipment anyway!
Great for an overnighter for 2-3 people if weather good enough to cook outside, otherwise a kitchen tent a 'must' in my opinion, or for a 'pup' tent to accommodate older kids on a longer stay. Otherwise invest your money in a belltent!

The tent is roomy, simple to put up (excellent instructions) and looks great. Although the erection is simple, it's not necessarily quick, as there are lots of guy ropes.
I would only use it for hot-weather sleeping, or as a utility/fun tent, because there is a wide gap between the clip-on groundsheet and the tent.

Was a great tent easy to sleep 2 adults and 3 children in including the dog but could be quite roomy for just 2 people. With stood the wind and rain that the scottish weather could throw at us and didnt leak once. Took 10 mins to erect and 5 mins to pack away was so simple. Easy to use for a weekend or festival outing or just for the kids in the back garden with friends. Would really recommend that a kitchen tent be used with it as there is only a small space around the middle but we managed to use the single burner and the kettle in there with ease. Cant wait to get the 12 man version now.
