7 Reviews of the Multi-Screen 6

We owned one of these. We was not too impressed either. I made a few adaptations to it. I screwed the end brackets to the poles so they would not slide out and damage the tent. I also made extra width panels which was attached with stitched velcro to make it less drafty between the gaps. We had it a year, then we got rid, and bought a Merdian 10 tent, as we have a lot camping equipment and needed more space. What I will say about this tent. I bought it from ebay for £41.00 and not the proper price. It certainly was not worth £250.00 More like £100.00

Just been away for a couple of days to try out our half price pro action multi screen tent. Was so excited about it! What a let down. Haven't got enough room in my garden to try it before hand, so just checked everything was there and thought the poles were great with the locking action! How wrong was I! Arrived on site, made up the frame (so far, so good). Everything went down hill from there, the gazebo roof just wouldn't fit snugly over the frame, then all the poles kept sliding out and would not stay locked in place (why did they not cap the ends of so they couldn't slide out?) At this point i had already decided to take this tent/gazebo back to argos as soon as i got back. The inner bedroom was fine, but the side panels just didn't fit and we had gaps all over the place (would have had less gaps if the poles stayed in place, but they just wouldn't, luckily none of them ripped through the tent/gazebo). The velcro did nothing to keep them together. Was quite windy through the night and half of the 2nd day so it was really getting on my nerves, keep trying to re velcro the sides and re pegging it in places! The door pegs would just not stay in place. Did think of sleep in the car but that would have been worse (4 people in a little fiesta!) I am just running on now, all in all had a lovely holiday (minus the tent/gazebo) had to take it down in the rain and it was soaked and muddy, so were we! But didn't care, got home found receipt took it straight back to argos still wet and muddy! (not me i had cleaned myself up!) I did want another tent so i opted for the 'lichfield appalachian 6+4 person tent' hoping it is going to be fine, anyone got one to let me know if I have made the correct decision?

This tent is nothing but a glorified gazebo with a net bedroom you hang inside for your bedroom. It is made up of a gazebo with 6 side panels 2 on each side and 1 at either end. Where the sides join there are big gaps that let in the cold, rain, and wind. I would not recommend anyone buy this tent unless you want to spend your camping trip freezing and cleaning up puddles left after it has rained. Me and a friend bought one each and took them back straight away as soon as we returned after cutting our holiday short. Dont know how this gets labelled as a tent. Only good thing about this is the size

Update on our tent! its now back at Argos with a full refund. I still think its a great sized tent but after a week away and some bad weather I agree its not a proper tent, its just a gazebo with side panels. The wind was blowing through all night and the connecting poles at each corner kept slipping out. It was so bad one night I slept in the back seat of our motor! so we returned it and bought an outwell montana 6 form go outdoors which is far superior.

Bought this as our first family tent. First impressions when it was erected in the garden were good for the sunny weather, but once we went for our fist trip, although the weather was very warm and sunny this is NOT a serious family camping tent. The 4 attachable sides WILL NOT keep the bad weather out due to being clip and velcro. One pole spike broke and one guy attachment came off. This tent would be great if the sides were sewn in and a sewn in ground sheet. Saying this it was fantastic that the sides could come off on a very sunny day but would not like to put a family in it in bad weather as wind can blown the rain in at each corner and each side. After a couple of days thinking we returned the tent due to its defects and are now planning to buy a Vango Amazon 600 which covers all the negative points of the Multi Screened tent. Not a bad buy for £124.99 in the sales but would not pay anything like the original RRP of £250. To phrase it all up for a family of 4 camping in this tent, Looks good-very good on sunny days - very bad protection against wind and rain. Do not buy it for serious camping but very handy as stop over tent or gazeebo (actually works like a gazeebo with sides)

This a great tent, easy to put up and take down, very spacious. You can walk about in it easily without having to bend down and the big windows are good too, letting in loads of light, they have roll down curtains for privacy. The inner sleeping tent is spacious too with a dividing curtain should you want 2 rooms. The only downfall is the front room panels are held together with velcro so if its windy you get breeze blowing in. Would recommend this tent but don't think I would pay £249, we got ours half price in the sale.

We used this tent once & hope get our money back. The poles didn't stay in place. The only sewn in ground sheet was in the bedroom area. The panels are so loose the sides just bagged out & the wind came in at us from everywhere. The only time you could reasonably use this tent is in the most clement weather! a shame really as it's a good looking tent & has lots of space asw ell as being easy to put up.
