Great tent. Quickly erected (even by one adult ) and spacious once the third bedroom is removed for daytime use. Ventilation is good. Extra stability is added by a metal crossbar in the roof, so it stands up well in gusts. Only negatives (and they're minor) are

A the sleeping pods are very bright in the morning.

B. The groundsheet doesn't zip in to the rest of the tent. Velcro strips might be needed if you're bug averse.

C. There's no custom protective groundsheet available. Not a Biggie, I found a near enough sized rectangular tarp that I folded at the corners. The built in groundsheet is ok, but a standalone tarp is recommended.

D. There's no custom porch available. The built in one is long enough, but not wide enough on a wet day. I ended up getting a cavernous Vango Family Shelter to create a huge canopy area. Works great.

Have camped for many years,getting older,frame tents and pole tents became a real chore but could not justify expense of an Airbeam until the Quechua 6.3XL Family came along . What a revelation , fantastic price , fantastic space , so easy to put up , good looking . I cannot speak too highly of it and strongly recommend it !

Fantastic tent! Spacious and extremely hardy! We were caught in the Cornwall storms for 3 days and the tent did not suffer once! And we couldn't feel the wind inside nor were we cold! We didn't need to pump up the beams nor fix any guy lines it's water tight warm and cosy! And we were in 60mph winds and torrential rain 10/10 for this tent I have every confidence in it.

Brought one of these spacious tents last year from Decathlon. Used it a couple of times and love the way it pitches in a few minutes! The room inside is amazing and it is so rigid in all winds. My only gripe about the tent is the zip doesn't zip all the way around the bottom of the doors leaving my two terrier dogs to 'nuzzle' out at night unless I tie them up inside. Poor design that I never noticed when purchasing. Ah well, back to my trusty Vango Icarus.

Absolutely fantastic tent, stayed in France for a week over the summer (2015) and each air beam took about 15 pumps to inflate, no more than a couple of minutes and it's up!

Really roomy if you don't use the 3rd bedroom attachment. Fantastic ventilation and the living space is big to the surprise and envy of our Outwell and Coleman tunnel tent friends. Needs an extension but new for 2016 is an inflatable shelter/extension by Quechua at Decathalon which we will be looking for when we revisit another part of France in 2016.

Only quibble is that the big front door is not fully zipped to the bottom as the zip stops at the sides so bugs and small furry animals can enter! Even velcro strips to help seal it would have been better than nothing and help stop the wind on blowy nights and earn it that 10th star.

Great value though, and easier to pack up than the old pop-up tents that Quechua used to make.

Just come back from a long weekend away using the quechua 6.3 xl air seconds tent and I must say what a tent. It's our 1st time with an inflatable tent and was a little worried about the sturdiness in bad weather but didn't need to. The tent didn't leak or even shift in quite blustery wind. It was solid and dry plus warm at night. Plenty of space it was bigger than I expected 3 adults and 2 children. Only thing is that the separate bedroom at front of tent could have been a bit better laid out bit close to the outer skin of tent. But apart from that top marks.

Our first inflatable tent and we love it! We wanted more living space for the evenings and times when the weather wasn't great and this tent delivers that in spades (when you remove the third bedroom at the front of the tent). It's also substantially cheaper than its nearest rivals, the Vango Icarus 600 and Hi-Gear Cirrus 6.

Putting up the tent is as easy as pegging the four corners and inflating the four tubes, then just walk around pegging guy lines as normal. The main door converts into a porch with some poles supplied but we used the side door exclusively as it's easier to close up the tent and has a little rain canopy to stop water running into the tent when you open the door. The front 'porch' door I think should be left exclusively for those sunny days on the campsite.

It stood up to a stiff wind with strong gusts. The only negative is the lack of accessories such as footprint, canopies or extensions.

Inside there's a nice array of pockets for storage and clips for lights. There's also a handy little washing line near one of the mesh windows that we used to hang/dry our tea towels.

Ventilation was excellent - the tent has a mesh top over the living area which then has a raised polyester cover to keep out rain.

The groundsheet by the doors can also be flattened out to prevent trips.

If there were canopies or extensions available this would get a 9/10.
