This tent was handed down to me by my parents when my Outwell was stolen from our shed. And if I'm perfectly honest I thought it was a lot more expensive than it actually was. It's still in very good condition after having at least 12 outings.
It is easy to put up, having done it on my own, 4 simple poles, peg in the back, grab the front guy rope and pull. The hardest thing is getting the pins in the ends of the poles. I've never had any problem with leaks or high winds.
Space wise, there is plenty for a family of 3. There is 2 inner tent bedrooms with one of then being slightly smaller than the other. The living area is more than adequate with plenty of head room and when the weather is nice you can unzip the front of the tent. The fact the ground sheet isn't sown in is not a problem for me, but it might be for others.
Plus points: Easy to put up and take down. Can withstand the typical British weather no problems. Detachable front wall. Plenty of room and light.
Negatives: Pins difficult to get into poles. The zips to the inner tents aren't logical, the net door should be zipped to the other door to save fiddling in the middle of the night!

I've owned the ten for 2 years and have been very satisfied with the performance every time. Great head room, good size bedrooms (big enough for a queen size airbed in each).
Admittedly, the ground sheet seems to be an inches short in width and length, but that is minor point, all things considered.
Most recently took it to Wales and it coped well with the rain and wind of the Brecon Beacons.
Value for money? - I'd say so!

Good sized tent, withstood some strong winds and rain without problems.
A sewn in groundsheet would be great but the 'skirts' around the tent stopped major leaks. We took some old carpet to cover the small gap between groundsheet and bed pods.
Great tent for novice campers. Easy and quick to pitch.

We wanted to get into this camping lark and the Rage seemed good value. Its not the best made tent, has nothing inside to hang / help but you know what we have had it 2 years and not a moments issue with it. I will upgrade but only when I have too!
We are a family of 5 so its perfect for us and loads of headroom inside makes it perfect for the UK summer!

We originally chose the Rage on price as we were not sure if camping would be for us (£62 on ebay.) Just returned from our first weekend away, the Rage stood up well to the weather, wind and rain most of the time. Only 2 of us but managed to erect ok despite instruction (which are vague for a newbie) suggesting 3. We did plan on buying a more expensive (better?) tent if we enjoyed camping, but for equivalent size in local camp store £250/300 .Cant see them offering much advantage over my Rage, maybe they will last longer I don't know, but if the Rage dies I will probably replace with the same.

One of the best tents I have had. Roomy, well made and sturdy. It won't last forever I am sure but I will be buying another if and when it gets damaged. We have used it for numerous trips now so have definitely had our money's worth from it. Bought from tentastic on ebay I think.

Fantastic tent has a lot of room. Very large living space with pods that sleep 3 in each. Been in the east coast on the top of a hill facing the sea. With the worst weather you could ever come across. The tent was fantastic never moved or leaked it withstood almost gale force wind. An outwell next to us was battered they paid twice as much as us and ended up being in our tent are there's was blowing all over the place.
Brilliant tent well worth ever penny! 10 out of 10

I bought an Alta 6dx two years ago as a way to get back into camping without having to declare myself bankrupt!
OK, so the rage isn't the best made tent in the world, but mine cost me less than £80 delivered! It is a simple tunnel tent and went up without any problems, it is very roomy inside and has plenty of ventilation, the groundsheet that comes with it is pretty flimsy, but I prefer to camp without one anyway.
We have been camping on several occasions in some truly dreadful weather, and touch wood have always remained dry. In summary, I love my Rage and although I am often tempted to upgrade, I will not do so until my rage decides that it can hold out the rain no longer, it would appear that Rage are somewhat hit and miss with their construction quality, I guess I must be one of the lucky ones!

I was a little worried about buying this tent but decided it was worth a try with such good prices on ebay.
Well we took it to Perran Sands in September and boy did this tent get tested.
First off I would say the quality is clearly not that of the main brands. (but then its considerably cheaper) there was the odd freyed guy rope and the poles felt a bit rough. Assembly was pretty painless though.
Once up we endured some horrific weather including gale force winds. It wasn't enjoyable in that weather but the tent remained standing. My parents Gelert suffered broken poles as did many other tents/awnings on site.
The tent did get a leak (we had a lot rain too) and the valance is poorly designed but we have sorted these issues by sealing the seams properly and buying some clingons. Now we have a fantastic tent!

Like all others, great easy tent to erect even for 1st time oldies like us both over 60, would like sewn in ground sheet and more brighter colours green ok but reminds me of the army. Overall, fantastic, bought from tentastic.
