This was a pleasant surprise. What would you say to a genuine 2 person, double skinned tent with a bathtub groundsheet, that weighs 2kg with pegs, for only £11 new? Yes, it's got to be rubbish, hasn't it? Well, no it isn't. It isn't in the same class as your pukka tents, but I'm sure it will be fine for a couple of seasons.
It is a classic dome tent with a very short porch and a single zip in the 2000mm water resist outer shell. The pack size is 14cm round by 50cm. The inner floor is 200 by 122cm, verified. Max inner height is 95cm. The inner is well vented and there is a closable vent in the outer at the rear. Ok for a couple with no kit, but just about right for one with room to spare.
The only negative so far is the outer is only pegged at the corners, so I have put in a couple of pegging points on the long sides.
I bought mine at a Dunelm store in a clearance sale. An unlikely shop but they tried a few camping items that obviously didn't sell for them.
