Bought this tent for lightweight camping but still wanted a good porch space. At the same time, I wanted good, internal length. It is in meeting these criteria that this tent has proved to excel.

Relatively spacious, with room for two adjacent Thermarest mats, my only criticism is that, although ventilation is generous, we do suffer with a lot of condensation. I suspect that this might be due to evaporation form the grass in the porch area, so plan to extend our protective groundsheet into the porch, next time.

Having used this tent in some strong and and heavy rain, I've never had any concerns about its integrity. Having two openings it’s also possible to exit through the more protected route.

I would recommend, but cannot, any longer, find it for sale.

Keeping weight down to a minimum weight but with sufficient room for two people the Cloud 2 Plus will be comfortable during long spells of bad weather and with sufficient room for all equipment were the primary aims in developing this tent. The inner can be erected during hot, dry weather on it’s own for mosquito protection. The shape of the Cloud 2 plus ensures superior wind stability, and it fits easily in a rucksack when packed. An ideal tent, for two backpackers who need space on long hikes.
