1 Reviews of the Tipi Extension PRS
By: Robclane Reason: I own(ed) one Made in: 2024 Rating:
I have one, I've built it (without the tent as I used a king pole at the back).
It's expensive for what it is, but is well constructed and should provide a good shelter for tipi (or by itself if you use a king pole). I have the Robens tipi PRS too. It has two tabs on the back edges that the supplier has no idea what they are for and there is no reference in the instruction manual. I would say Robens has a good name, but customer support is not good (I have asked for help twice resolving product issues and it's several weeks and still no answers and the retailers don't know either, they are minor issues though).
There are no windows in the extension so for light it's door open or what comes in under the tent (it doesn't go right to floor). There is no floor (except the grass one). It will be good for muddy boots and wet clothing as there's plenty of air circulation.
I like it and it takes very little time to erect, so I think I'll use it a lot!

Manufacturer's Description
The Tipi Extension PRS extends the front access of all Robens tents that feature an A-frame main door. Not only does it provide sheltered access, but it creates the perfect space to keep wet, muddy gear out of the tent. The design incorporates versatile panels that allow front and side access to provide entry sheltered from wind and rain. The front side panels can be toggled back for full panoramic views and the main door can be poled out (poles not supplied) to create a canopy for shade.
