3 Reviews of the Avignon 4 Select SG

Hi all I have one of these tents but lost my poles so can some body let me know how long the tent poles are so I can make some cheers as can not use tent so gutted ie Loads of room in living area and bedrooms, great headroom. Lots of windows and the brilliant porch make it really light. More spacious than the Bordeaux 4 we think, probably due do its more rounded sides.

This is a great tent. We have pitched this tent twice so far and it is very simple and straightforward. The hardest part is getting the sewn in groundsheet correct but even this does not take long once you get the hang of it. I believe this tent could be put up in between half to three quarters of an hour by 2 people with practice. We have also got it back into the wheeled bag very easily each time.
This tent is very spacious for a 4 berth. It has a large living area with separate annexe and 2 bedrooms which each sleep 2 people (140cm wide). It has a very high head room throughout. There are 4 of us 2 adults and 2 older children and we have plenty of room. The canopy out the front is easily zipped on and is great for cooking under. The annexe is a really handy changing/storage area with its own bath tub groundsheet. The main tent has a sewn in groundsheet.
There are 2 skylight windows in the roof of the tent plus an additional 4 windows and 3 doors. All doors and windows (except the front door/windows) have flyscreen mesh for ventilation. There are also 2 additional ventilation points at the front and back of the tent. Due to the good ventilation on this tent we have not had a problem with condensation even with the sewn in groundsheet.
The tent is very light and airy during the day but cosy at night and we are extremely pleased with it.

Fantastic tent. Very spacious yet straightforward to put up and fairly compact when packed.
Loads of room in living area and bedrooms, great headroom. Lots of windows and the brilliant porch make it really light. More spacious than the Bordeaux 4 we think, probably due do its more rounded sides.
Have used/pitched the tent 4 times - the first time it took around an hour but we've got that down to around 40 minutes now and getting quicker each time (2 of of us pitching with a 4 year old 'helping').
The annexe is fantastic - could be used for a night loo or for storage. Really keeps the living area clutter free.
I would recommend this tent to anyone, and in fact I have - my sister just bought one.
