The good things: It has steep inner walls.
Inner tent is yellow, ( friendly colour), the flysheet is dark green. I have the old model, now the fly is light green. Dark is better for wild camping.
Freestanding. A must for me. 2 poles cross each other twice. Very sturdy, very simple and bombproof. Small space needed to put it up. Only 2 pegs needed. 2 additional guylines, not always needed.
Good headroom without adding a third small pole.
Improvements? Of course , most people will use it as a one man tent, so it could have been a bit narrower, and ten cm longer in case you have a long sleeping bag. It could have had sleeves instead of clips, sleeves that are blanked off at one end, I think that is the quickest way to erect the tent.
The weight is not a problem. I prefer a decent tent that holds up against a storm than a 1 kg flimsy expensive 'light but fragile' design.
The zip of the door should have a 2 sliders, so you can open it from the top, for additional ventilation. My model only zips from the bottom.
I had many tents, but the main advantage of this one is the freestanding-1-peg-for-vestibule design. I can recommend this tent.
For solo cycling I think you would need to look hard to find a model that is better.
