Like all Robert Saunders tents, this one was bomb proof with the addition of absolutely massive vestibules at both ends. For two people sharing, these tents were both lightweight and spacious. The quality of workmanship and materials was exceptional and it pitched taught every time.
There's something very reassuring about being in a Saunders' tent, whatever the weather you know you'll be kept dry and with the minimum of fuss.
Loved every time we went out in this, whether into the hills or on static camps.

Great high quality lightweight backpacking/cycle touring tent. Weight and Price are estimates from memory but hard to better for the accommodation/storage space even today hence still in use. Bought in the 1980s and still going strong in 2013 with one re-proof of the groundsheet in its life!
Ideal for splitting between two cycles or packs, Pegs, Poles, Fly and inner all separately packed. Did do two two week Solo tours of Ireland in the early nineties with this tent.
Ample room for two with vast storage capability for two packs cooking etc in entrances (use survival bag or similar to keep the damp off).
Simple quick and easy to erect (no fibre pole to thread/Break/Rip!
Sadly Saunders tents are no longer produced. Founder of company, Robert Saunders passed away in 2012.
