4 Reviews of the Caravan Tunnel

I also bought from ebay and I love the tent. Plenty of room in both sleeping pods and massive amounts of room in the front end. One very wet evening we had around 12 people plus 2 dogs in relative comfort. I have also used this front with extra pop up tents when I have extra kids away. Good value for money. The only downside is I would have loved a SIG.

Bought this from Ebay last year due to the specs and price. As a 5 person family this was ideal for us,took it on its first outing in summer this year to Cornwall.
We had to decamp 1 day early as the rain was non stop for the week, and the ground was starting to flood. The tent held up with standard pegs in the high winds it kept the rain out however there were slight leaks at the support pole pockets. I doubt even if a more expensive tent would have been any better due to the amount of rain there was over 6 days day and night. Would recommend this tent as its easy to erect, plenty of room, holds up well in high winds and isn't too heavy.
The sewn in ground sheets in the bedrooms saved the day as the ground underneath was 2' deep in water. All in all brilliant tent

I also bought a Skandika Tunnel tent off ebay last year and have been really impressed with it so far. Used the tent most weekends last year and had no problems at all, always kept us dry and warm on every outing, even when we had heavy rain and wind.
There is plenty of room for a family of 4 or 5 and we find it as good as the more expensive tents. Is real value for money. Only downside is the pegs, if you get one of these invest in some good quality rock pegs because most sites we have been to have hard ground and the supplied pegs tend to bed, but overhall an excellent tent. Would highly recommend it.

I bought this tent via EBay, but was delivered direct form Germany. Excellent quality, well made and easy to erect, even by myself. Vast amount of room inside and has stood up well to British and French weather. Sleeping pods are seperate so can use together or seperately. Windows are half mesh and half plastic so plenty of ventilation. As with other tents, basic tent pegs supplied and toggles to hold window blinds open could be bit bigger but I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone.

Manufacturer's Description
Weighing only 22 kg when packed- but giving a surface area of 18 square metres (193 sq. ft.) and a height of 2 metres! Enough room for 5 people! And so high only the very tall will have to worry about bending or crawling.
The tent is sturdy when pitched and remains stable even in high winds.
Some people think the Caravan tent "heaven-sent" It stays on the ground as if nailed there whether in wind or rain, and protects against harmful UVC rays.
The entrance is your sunroof. With an awning for barbecues or just sitting down to relax. Offering enough space for luggage, a grill, food supplies, etc, etc, etc..
Strong: the poles. Flexible, but at the same time shatter-proofed 12,7 mm fibreglass.
Breathable inner tent material - ideal for allowing fresh air in. And this means the tent has an ideal climate in all weathers!
Extra resilient water column. A tent is considered waterproof even at 1.200 mm (47.2'')! The Caravan model offers 3.000 mm (118'')! A miracle? No!- just miraculous PU-coated polyester! This also makes the tent UV-resistant and especially storm-proof.
The water column describes the quality and strength of the coating. The higher the water column, the more water-resistant the coating (...and the higher the price).
And another plus point: The finish! Taped seams with extra reinforced grommets and ties, thicker, webbed threads which make the material more robust and prevent tears from getting bigger. Cords are used to connect segments.
The tent comes in a handy pack complete with numerous accessories such as guy lines, stakes, and easy to read assembly instructions.
The ground floor for the living room (as shown in the pictures) is included.
The CARAVAN model! So durable, the kids of your kids will still be camping in it.
