Our first camping trip as a family was very memorable in the Helsinki tent.
It was easy to assemble (be sure to to practice once at home first to ensure you understand the instructions).
I love the fully enclosed sleeping area with both mesh and fabric closures. There's a privacy screen to turn this area into 2 separate sleeping quarters, each with their own entrances from the main area of the tent.
The poles are very strong and sturdy, and the guy lines are very easily adjusted with the attached sliders.
I love the added 'extras' of having pockets to hold tissues and flashlights, etc., and having a place to hang a lantern from the top. The adjustable front wall is also very practical and shows they've thought of everything (they even include a little patch kit as they understand that 'life' happens).
The tent is high enough for adults to stand straight up, and there's enough room inside for a table and chairs, if so desired.
All the equipment comes in a handy duffle bag, but unless you're an expert in origami, or have a lot of time, you won't easily get everything packed back in. However, it does fit if you carry the poles separately. This is just a minor detail and doesn't affect the usability, which is the important thing.
We are very pleased with our new tent and highly recommend it. We're already seeking out locations across the country to explore together next year.
