9 Reviews of the Milano 10

I have had this tent for three seasons now, and been camping in all weathers with it.
The first time out with it, we were camped on the shores of Loch Striven on the west coast Scotland.
The weather was really wild!
A fully grown tree was ripped right out of the ground about 350 yards from where we were camped but the tent was A OK.
As soon as we got the tent, we swapped the pegs that come with it, for our 14' rocksplitters.
If this tent is fully guyed down and pegged out it will stand up to anything.
Very easy to put up.
Always bone dry in the heaviest of rain storms.
The sewn in ground sheet is a must, for both keeping the beasties out and stopping those annoying draughts when the weather is not so good and you are stuck indoors.
In another review I saw someone had trouble with the steel poles, If the sleeves are full entered and the guy lines tensioned correctly there should not be a problem.

First and foremost my wife and I are OAPs. (wife 69, I am 75). So we require an easy to erect tent
We need more than average space because wife has electric mobility scooter. Our Skandika Milano 10 berth is more than ample for our needs.
Because of the built in groundsheet, the tent is lots warmer than our other (Older) tent.
We also have to take our Westie dog with us.
I purchased my Milano from Skandika on Ebay (new) for £395. (Best bargain ever)
Easy to erect (20 mins) and easy to dismantle.
Would recommend to all campers.

We bought this tent at the end of last year off ebay and used it the day we picked it up. It is a lovely tent, and I love the fact that it has a bath style sewn in ground sheet. It is nice and roomy and allows my kids to have a separate room so no arguing.
We use the back door to go in and out of and use the front porch for our toilet as it is the perfect size. Though do have some concern about the stretching caused on the zip.

EXCELLENT & WOULD RECOMMEND YOU BUY
I bought this tent of Ebay in Aug 09 for our trip of touring France, what a bargain, paid £240.00 brand new. Lots of space, easy to put up and to take down.
The inside of the tent is very comfortable. The living space is very spacious (we like to take the kitchen sink).
Plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 very bouncy dogs (Border Collie & Lab Cross) as well as room for guests if they wanted to come with us. The sewn in ground sheet is great no bugs invade your space and stops the draughts. I would highly recommend this tent for families!
Was great in a storm, no rain got in and no bent poles along with no rips or tears….Even with stood the worst thunder and lighting I’ve ever seen.

Great! Is not good enough a word. I know the Milano 10 tent is meant to be a fair weather family summer holiday tent, but unable to wait till next summer,as we just got it,we headed off to a sea loch on the west coast of Scotland on the Weekend of Sep.4-6. We were rough camping on exposed ground. Well, one of the biggest storms this summer came upon us during the night and we had to shout at each other in the same air bed to hear each other. The tent shook and trembled, as did we, but not a tear or drop of water ingressed into the tent. In the night, two mature trees were ripped out of the ground, not 200 yards from us. On inspection of the tent in the morning, not a tear or mark on it. The only precaution we took was to peg it down with Rocksplitter pegs the night before and it stood firm. No bent poles. No broken guy lines and bone dry. Amazing.

I bought this tent last year but only used it for the fist time in May this year and again in Aug. My husband wanted to practice putting the tent up so we didn't look like fools but it looked easy from the instructions and turned out to be as easy as I thought. The inside of the tent is very comfortable for 4 of us, we put the kids in separate rooms to save arguments and have a changing room as well. The living space is very spacious as you can see in the pics I have uploaded (we like to take the kitchen sink). The only problem we have found is the bar across the door makes the inner door stretch and it's starting to weaken the zip. My dad has come up with a plan to stop this happening. Hope it works.

I recently bought one. We upgraded from a family tent pack after a damp draughty cramped week end in the family tent pack. It is really simple to put up its sturdy and spacious. We normally take just the one bedroom with us as there is plenty room for a double air bed and a single with walking space in between and the option to fasten the partition and have separate rooms for privacy. This leaves us with a huge living space. Plenty room for 2 adults one child and a very bouncy Labrador as well as room for guests. The sewn in ground sheet is wonderful as it give us an insect free living space and stops the draughts. I would highly recommend this tent for families we love our one!

Lovely tent with plenty of room. Nice to know that you can now camp without the worry of having any bugs invade your space. Very nice and wonderful if you have 3 children because they can each have there own room and will avoid any arguments. One tent I would highly recommend.
