Tent had a mixture of weather thrown at it over the week first two days very strong winds and must say tent never mooved did not even have to tighten guide ropes then we had torrential rain not a drip inside then 26 degrees full sun opened the doors fly screens down and hey presto cool tent. Droped two points for finish to tent not up to usual high standards of Outwell

This is a moderately priced tent, it is sturdy with heavy duty support poles, this makes it very heavy to carry but once up it ain't going no where, I reckon it would survive a hurricane, certainly I have used it during extremely wet and windy conditions, water did seep in through the zip panels but not enough to be a concern. It has a build in ground sheet so no problem with draughts and water invading through that route. I do not know if Skandika make a 'footprint' for this model as I think it would benefit from one, I'll need to check it out. Erecting the tent is easy and I can do it alone. The sitting area is very large as the tent is wider than most, easily get 12 people sitting round a table, although sold as a 6 berth, I think it could be a bit of a squash but perfect for 4, the sleeping section is one unit with a removable partition if you want 2 separate 'rooms'. The main entry to the tent can be supported to form an awning, there is also a side entry and a very useful porch, we used it as a larder to store coolboxes, bags etc. The tent is very well ventilated so there has never been a problem with condensation forming. All in all I would recommend this tent.
