3 Reviews of the Scirocco

This is the best tent we have owned its very easy to erect and its very spacious loads of room even with both bedrooms erected theres enough room in the living area for a table and chairs and cooking facilities and a pantry. Its very sturdy even in gale force winds which we had [60mph] plenty of hooks for lamps etc, and it comes in a easy storage bag and it packs away easy too. Every thing is colour coded to erect so simple it only took 25mins to do . With sown in ground sheet theres no creepy crawlies can get in and its very warm in the coldest of winds, overall a brilliant buy very recommended

Just bought this tent and have used it only twice so far. Fantastic tent, plenty of room, even with both bedroom areas up.
Easy to erect, even first time it only took 30 mins and that was attaching all of the ropes.
Our previous tent did not have sewn in groundsheet so this was a must when we were looking for a new one. This is a lifesaver. It's so warm and basically draught free.
Only problem at moment is trying to put it back in the bag but that's probably us not folding it correctly.
Best tent we have owned and would definitely recommend buying one.

After looking at many tents we finally decided to buy the Skandika Scirocco and I can say we are not disappointed with our choice.
The tent was easy to erect and only took us about 30mins, and that is with a 2yr old to watch as well and it was our first camping trip. The poles are colour coded so you know where they go. We only used one of the inner bedroom compartments and left the other one down and this gave us at least 15ft of empty internal tent space for our little one to play in and comfortably sit inside.
We had a mixture of weather while we were camping including heavy rain and wind and the tent withheld it all with ease and we felt snug and secure.
The tent also has lots of internal pockets for storage and hooks to hang lamps in all the bedroom and centre of tent.
The tent comes in a holdall type bag and we easily managed to get the tent back into the bag when we took it down.
We would highly recommend this tent as it is very spacious and easy to erect.

Manufacturer's Description
A flatlet out of the pocket! Spacious - quick to pitch - high quality
Thanks to the colour coded poles it is a child’s play to pitch the tent, which even withstands the strongest winds.
Offers a very large living space and complete insect protection for living and sleeping space. The sewn in tent floor offers many benefits:
* No rain water entering, since the tent floor and the outer tent are tightly sewn together and sealed * No pests and no insects in the living and sleeping areas, since all openings are fitted with mosquito netting and screens. * Pre-assembly provides for very quick set-up.
The entrance is your sunroof. The roomy living area of the tent provides ample space for baggage, groceries and everything else needed when camping. Also suitable as guest room. With more than 6.5 ft headroom it is a perfect lounge for homelike evenings.
Strong: the poles. Flexible, but at the same time shatter-proofed fibreglass.
Breathable inner tent material - ideal for allowing fresh air in. And this means the tent has an ideal climate in all weathers! Aeration openings provide a permanent ventilation.
Extra resilient water column.. A tent is considered waterproof even at 1,200 mm (47.2’’)! The Scirocco model offers 5,000 mm (197’’)! A miracle? No!- just miraculous PU-coated polyester! This also makes the tent UV-resistant and especially storm-proof.
The water column describes the quality and strength of the coating. The higher the water column, the more water-resistant the coating ( ...and the higher the price). For this reason, tents with water columns of 2.000 mm (79’’) or lower cost less. But you’ll soon regret cutting costs here the first time you pitch it, if not before.
The tent comes in a handy pack complete with numerous accessories such as guy lines, stakes, and assembly instructions. A repair kit is also included.
The Scirocco model - So durable, the kids of your kids
