We purchased this tent after seeing the previous years model and thinking how it could possibly be the ideal tent for us.

We love the zip out windows / fly screen and the massive window at the front of the tent. The blackout blind to the front window was a pain so we removed it. As the previous review states, the door does not have loops to allow the door to be rolled up, but we attached a couple of elastic hair bands to allow such opening.

The tent is easy enough to put up with two people and has stood up to the worst weather we have ever camped in.

There are plenty of vents and love the fact that you can roll the side ones up to allow air to flow freely around the bedroom areas.

One of the best features of this tent, and the main reason we bought it, is the extra section between the bedrooms and the main living area. It is fantastic as a changing room and a snug sitting area in the winter months.

It's not a cheap tent but worth every penny and ideal for our way of camping.

We've used the tent for over 18 months now and are really happy with our purchase.

We bought the Sprayway Ravine 5 after extensive research as it was similar to the Outwell Vermont L, but £200 cheaper and has the attached canopy. We love the built in wardrobe/ storage area (the walls of which zip away to make an optional 3+2 bedroom- or one huge 5 berth room if wanted) but the best bit is the 2 distinct living areas. There is a changing/utility/optional sleeping area which is part of the inner tent, which has a zipped door to the main living area. The main living area has loads of room for table/ chairs and cooking equipment. We would probably put a toilet tent within the utility area, there's plenty of room for it, so it is kept zipped away in a separate place from the main eating area.

We love this tent. I managed to get it up the first time by myself, but it is easier with two people. It has withstood 2 days of continuous rain with no leaks at all, the inside was completely dry. It has all the usual handy built in storage and hanging loops. The only niggle I would have if I was looking for one is that the main front door hasn't got loops for tying it open, but we just leave the door folded in a flexi tub, ready to be zipped back on. This is the only fault I can find and just makes it a great tent rather than a superb one.
