Does exactly what you expect
Good budget family tent
Plenty of room for two adults an two under ten
Easy to erect 1 person job
No hassle
Light and bright inside
Replacement for an old Outwell and find this easier to love in
Good square living area
Bedrooms adequate and easily made into one big room
Head room ok limited on side door
Centre storage good
Could spend more for less
Depends what you have had before but if camping didn't previously have a seen in ground sheet this then feels like luxury

With the typical British climate and the fact that every camping trip we have embarked has bought rain, we decided that we needed a tent with a good waterproof rating.
The Invader 400 came with a rating of 4000 and came in at less than £200!
A bargain? We think so!
First thing is that it is very easy to pitch, managing on my own in less than 30mins.
Once it is up it is also easy on the eye! It has luminous guy ropes as well, which apart from looking funky also serve a purpose.
It has nice big windows so its nice and light during the day and blinds to give you privacy at night.
The sewn in ground sheet is great and is raised so you don't get water washing into your tent during the inevitable rain, though this does create a trip hazard! Though there is a sign warning you of this (very health and safety!).
The bedrooms are at the end of the tent and the roof here is darker than the rest of the tent, which helps get the kids to sleep quicker, giving mum and dad more beer time round the camp fire!
There are very handy storage pockets in-between the doors to the bedrooms and after putting all our equipment into the tent, it still felt pretty spacious.
We have also since purchased an extension to this tent which will take all the stuff out of the main tent, so will have loads of space for the kids to make a mess in.

Great tent! We were worried that the HH was only 2000 - the new ones have HH of 3000 - but it stood up to 14 hours of torrential rain in Snowdon last week with no leaks at all. Even when the wind was blowing pretty strong, it stayed put. Well impressed. It's lovely and cosy with the fully sewn in ground sheet and the living area came into use during the rain just to sit and chill with everyone in our group. Certainly would recommend this tent to anyone.

We bought this tent as a replacement for our Coleman Bispace which we loved but this had a small hole in the roof which we could not fix. Have to say that the amount of space in the living part of the tent is very good and useable. Despite having no practice before we used the tent it was easy to erect although did take a bit of time to get everything pegged down. During our holiday we had ever type of weather except snow and the tent survived it all. Heavy rain, strong winds and then very hot sunshine. Cannot fault this tent in any way.

Loads of space and easy to pitch. Luminous guy ropes great for dark nights. Stood up to strong winds in the north of Scotland very well but although we have been away 45 times this year in it we can't say if it stands up well to rain.As it has been lovely every holiday! Perfect for a couple but would easily accommodate a couple of small children as well for short periods of time.
