This has been our only tent since we started camping with our kids and I was amazed when asked to note the year it was made just how long we'd actually had it!

We bought it after a few trips with friends in borrowed tents, having noted the plus and minus points of our friends tents and those around the sites we stayed on and can honestly say not once have we regretted our choice.

Yes, it's big! It's not difficult to pitch but it does take a while and it's not a job for 1 or even 2 people. Yes, we managed when our boys were small but we were very glad when they grew tall enough to be of more use as it's definitely an advantage having a few tall people around when you're pitching.

Having to pitch the inner first means you have to be mindful of the weather but that has never been enough of a 'minus' to cancel out all the 'pluses'.

We have used it more for weekends because that's when we mostly do our camping. Yes, it would have been nice to have pitched a bit quicker but again there are so many 'pluses' to this tent, an extra half hour pitching has made it all worthwhile.

Love the skylight window - everyone always comments how light and airy the tent feels.

Love the front porch area. Great for muddy boots, wet shoes and wet jackets.

Love the fitted groundsheet - the thought of field mice rooting through your cereal terrifies me!

Love the shape of the tent, the way the sleeping pods are laid out. You never have someone in a different 'bedroom' lying right next to you through a thin sheet of nylon.

Love all the various windows and flysheets - makes it well aired in hot weather.

Love the headroom inside. Most headroom I've ever experienced in a tent.

Love the roomy but cosy, snugness this tent gives you in the evening when you're all zipped in, whatever the weather - if you don't want the party to be in your tent every night - consider another tent!

We are about to downsize as we're now tent 'empty nesters' but would have no hesitation in recommending this tent as long as you have enough people and time to pitch it.

This is still our first tent and is still going strong. We bought it from PJ Camping in St Albans having seen it erected. The interior light and space sold it to us.

It is fair to say that it needs 2 people to erect, and the back bedroom in particular is saggy. Also I will consider the inner pitch first aspect next time I purchase.

On the up side, it has a porch you can use, even for a little gas hob. Loads of pockets, windows, openings and even a hookup cable entry point.

Overall we have been pleased with this tent and because we got a little deal I think it was good value.
