First things first.
This is a low cost 2 person (with kit) 'Fair Weather' tent, made in China.
The bedroom SIG is made from recycled plastic, therefore the sooner it is put up and aired the better.
It is also rather thin and easily punctured, therefore a footprint of some sort is desirable.
Can be assembled by 1 person.
The first time is the hardest to get the poles into position, after a while they bend better, and slip in nicely. (Ring and Pin system)
The bedroom connects to the flysheet with toggles on elasticated bands.
It is low level, therefore, clothing changing etc, is done in a horizontal position,
The mosquito net allows ventilation for daytime siestas.
There is space in the 'porch' for footwear, toilet bucket, and other small outside items.
Despite the 1500 mm HH we were kept dry from the (unexpected) rain one Sunday morning.
With care, this tent will provide us with several more seasons of use.
For people wishing for a low cost introduction to tenting, this is a good starter.
Currently (15/06/2010) on sale at �24.99 from Tesco.
Tip:- Mark the centre (where they cross) of the poles with some coloured adhesive tape.
Also, consider some better pegs in case of stony ground, I use Halfords GroundHog. 2 packs of 8
