1 Reviews of the Minibus 3
By: Itinerant-Potters Reason: I own(ed) one Made in: 2010 Rating:
We are a family of five & use two of these tents, we pitch them facing each other with a tarp across the intervening space.
2 Adults comfortably in one 3 children in the other.
We have camped with this set up for 3 weeks no problem.
These tents are very easy to put up & take down five minutes or so.
They are very warm and the ventilation is excellent.
After zipping at night with a temp outside temp of 7 degrees C within 90 minutes inside temp will settle around 12-14 degrees C.
Each door has two doors, one fly coloured the other no-see-um mesh. Both have glow in the dark zip tags.
The first time we used these we had two weeks of steady & torrential rain with no leaks.
There are two vestibules, mirror images of each other and plenty big enough to fit atleast four adult sized back packs + odds & sods, no problem.
Shop around if your looking at getting one of these new, as I paid £199 each and have seen them for £189, while some places had them still listed at £389.
The footprints for this tent are like hen's teeth.(If you see any for sale drop me a line)
If you spot one they should be around £30.
9 out of 10 because there's always room for improvement.
