1 Reviews of the Trio Trinidad 5
By: Melbourne12 Reason: I own(ed) one Made in: 2001 Rating:
We recently dug out our Trio Trinidad 5 for a camping weekend in the Peak District. It attracted a lot of attention for its vintage look (circa 1985). Despite its age, it's still going strong and is stable and waterproof.
It has two sleeping compartments, one larger 3 person and one smaller 2 person, with a space between them for storage. At the front of the tent is a large 5-sided living area, with 3 windows which can unzip for ventilation, or be shaded with curtains for privacy.
The quality of Trio Sport tents is beyond reproach. Trio are better known for their caravan awnings, and as the tents use many of the same poles and fittings, you can still get spares. My only criticism compared with modern family tents is the weight. But we've found ourselves part of the fashion for retro glamping, so we're very happy.
If you see a secondhand Trio for sale, it's certainly worth a look!
