1 Reviews of the Ultimate Horizon
By: Zeelees Reason: I own(ed) one Made in: 2004 Rating:
This is my 'bargain tent',I bought it for under a fiver and am thrilled. It has a bedroom pod which has a fully sewn in groundsheet and a porch area at both ends. The bedroom seals up with three way zips both front and back,it is cotton which will cut down on condensation. Enough space for 2 people to sleep in comfort, the porch areas are big enough to store gear and cook when weather is wet.The flysheet is strong as are the poles, which are not fibreglass which I expected them to be(some kind of lightweight steel/aluminium),much stronger as are the bungees which join them.
I pitched it yesterday and we had a very strong coastal wind, the tent did not move, and that was without guying it out.
Am really looking forward to trying a bit of lightweight camping with this little beauty.
