1 Reviews of the Green Wing 500
By: Dolores99 Reason: I own(ed) one Made in: 2010 Rating:
We bought this tent as it was cheaper than the Icarus version which we had liked in GO. It was easy enough to pitch, we did a garden test run first and it took about 20 mins or so. The bedroom slept four of us comfortably on air beds and the room divider was very useful for privacy. The living area is a great size, plenty of room for chairs and a couple of small camping tables along with all the bags of stuff you have. We used the side door to make the most of the living space plus the weather was not great for having the front door open to the elements. I really like this tent because of the SIG, we have previously had non SIG tents and this tent felt warmer and more 'closed in' although there are plenty of ventilation points if you need them. I also like the hanging storage area between the bedroom doors, the little pockets have proved very useful. We have camped in it twice and not had any leakage problems in spite of the torrential rain and wind we experienced on the second camp. We are very happy with our tent and hope to use it frequently over the next few years.
