We have now been out in our Vango Maritsa Airbeam 600xl twice.We love the size and ease of pitching.Having been used to the old style air valves we struggled with rolling it back up.After a plea on UK Campsite for help we found out how they worked on this tent.The tent is very solid in moderate wind and we would imagine would be in heavier winds.It hasn't rained while we were away so cannot comment on it's waterproofing.Love the windows and at high level let's loads of light in.The bedrooms are spacious and being dark in colour helped with the early morning light.We have some little niggles though.Starting with the front 'awning' part there is no fly screen,the bottom of the door does not zip up and the groundsheet is a bath tub style not fully sewn in.The inner door has no flyscreen either meaning bugs have unfettered access.There is an absence of hanging hooks in suitable places for lights.And finally my age old gripe about the sloping front door.As with all sloping front doors any wet drips on you when you open it.This has been complained about for years.Why don't the manufacturers listen?How hard is it to put a small canopy on the front?Having said that we knew that when we bought it.All in all we like this tent.We have given an honest review and would recommend.
