Neat little tent that works well for cycle touring. Bought as upgrade to Vango Alpha 300 that we have used for many years and would not part with! Chose this for light pack size and the biggest inner length (220cm) we could find for sensible money. We went for three man for a bit more elbow room and the extra inner length because we are two tall people. Quick to pitch with only one middle tunnel pole and two small ones at each end - these are a bit fiddly to get at the right angle the first time. Doorways are reasonable size and once in there is enough height to sit up quite comfortably. There is a sort of porch on one side so you can leave shoes and wet things in the porch. The other side the inner comes out to the full width so you have a sort of triangle of space to stash clothes etc. For me I would rather it was the same on both sides with two porch areas but that's maybe me being picky. Packs down quickly and easily into a decent sized bag. We've used in rainy conditions and been nice and dry inside. The tension bands go through the inside and these are handy to hang small items on to let them dry after getting wet or doing a spot of laundry. All in all a good bit of kit.

The Vango Nevis 300, 3-man tent is ideal for lightweight trips where good shelter is still a priority. The combination of ProTex® Shield flysheet, TBS II® and PowerLite® Alloy poles delivers excellent strength and stability, whilst the fast pitching time, low weight and a small pack size deliver great benefits on any expedition.
