1 Reviews of the Ostro 200
By: Trevjhill Reason: I've used one Made in: 2016 Rating:
Bought this to replace my Vango Storm 300+. Needed a decent tent for Dartmoor and summer camping with grandchildren. This is a well ventilated tent and easy for one person to put up. Inner pitches first so is ideal if camping in dry summer conditions and you only want to use the inner. Quality of build is superb. No condensation and felt secure during thunderstorm and downpour. Double entry makes access easy with children coming and going and porch area is plenty for storing kit but not a bicycle. I like the traditional orange Vango colour but it is conspicuous. Fully geodesic design would probably promote it to an all season tent for lowland camping. It's survived everything that Dartmoor can throw at it. I use it for deep wild camping but use a green tent sometimes to be less conspicuous. It easily accommodated one adult and two children. I recommend this tent.

The Vango Ostro 200 is ideal for camping in warmer weather climates. Keeping it cool, this 2-man tent can be pitched with the flysheet and footprint (footprint is an optional extra) for a tarp style pitch or inner only for warmer nights. A classic geodesic construction with 5 crossover points for free standing stability, increased further by the use of Gothic Arch poles on the porch structure. Tested in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco, subtropical climates of southeast Asia and continental Europe the Ostro is perfect for hiking and trekking whilst only weighing 3.25kg
