5 Reviews of the Sigma 300+

What a crackling little tent, this has been used many times and still using it today, both entrances are fantastic, my greyhound slept in one entrance in a large bed with wool blankets and was snug as a bug in a rug even thought the ground sheet is not sewed in. The best test my faithful Vango had was when I camped near the north sea in a horrendous gale force 9 storm, Jesus it was bad, wind brake poles all broke, yet the Vango held up very well. Totally waterproof no leaks at all.

Recommended tent for either solo camping with your dog or a couple.

We bought this tent in the summer and have already used it twice to sleep 3 adults. (Yes you can fit 3 as long as you're friendly and don't like to spread out when you sleep!).

The pack is small and lightweight and the tent is easy to erect and very stable.

There is plenty of headroom for sitting up, due to the dome shape. We love the idea of the porch at either end. We found we used one as a dry storage area (for equipment & bags) and the other as the entrance and for wet gear (shoes & waterproofs).

I think that this will be our first choice of tent when just 2 of us go away, & even for 3 of us for short breaks.

A great tent - this three berth comfortably fits a couple on a double mattress with gear, food etc for at least a long weekend. The side pockets are v useful, as are the pouches in one of the porches. Two porches works well and there has obviously been careful thinking going into the design, light flaps, indicators for poles etc.

It goes up quickly and easily (fly sheet first which always helps when raining) and appears to be of a good build quality - must have been used a good 15 times so far and no problems.

Highly recommended!

I have used this tent 3 times now and I can't really fault it (I think it has now been updated and is called something else now)I have only ever used the tent by myself and with the gear I take with me I don't think I could fit anyone else in but for quick getaways it would be ideal for 2 people but a struggle for 3 The idea of 2 porches was excellent as which ever way you are facing you can use the other porch for storage

All in all this tent ticks all the boxes for me I think the manufacturers description below sets out all the good points

I purchased this tent with the intention of being able to use it for short camping holidays.

The reason I purchased this tent as opposed to any other was the fact that the outer could be put up first and then the inside be attached after as opposed to many which I had seen which involved the inner going up first.

This certainly is a good plan when having to put up the tent in rain. This tent proved its worth on a long weekend

It provided a spacious sleeping area to sleep in and the front porch area was great space to sit and cook in safety whilst it was raining. The second porch area on this occasion worked as an added storage space for our food box and equipment.

This tent is light, quick and easy to put up and is spacious inside. It is advertised as a three-man tent and although I have only had two people in mine, there was plenty of room for a third. We used the extra space for clothes storage. The bedroom also had a range of pockets for wallets etc and you also get two extra storage sleeves to hang up on one of the porches for added storage eg.Tickets, cream, hairbits, matches etc.

The tent has good ventilation inside and has the option of pulling the side vent open on the exterior of the tent if required. Overall I would recommend this tent to couples for short breaks, it certainly will not disappoint due to the added porch area on the front and rear of the tent, which would allow for more of a storage area.

I have the black and green one which made for a lovely nice wake up and even though it was black in the summer heat the tent stayed cool. Its easy to put up and only took us 10mins to fully set up camp.

Another excellent feature is that you are able to open both doors and therefore allow air to flow through the whole tent.

I defo recommend this tent to friends.
