1 Reviews of the Taiga 500
By: Roxy1 Reason: I own(ed) one Made in: 2015 Rating:
This is great tent, very easy to put up, with plenty of room inside. It consists of three air beams and one fiberglass pole at the front (for the porch)
There is loads of headroom inside the tent - I am 6'3' and there is more than enough height for me.
The living space in the middle area is quite large and joined with the front porch provides plenty of space for living/cooking/eating if its raining outside.
Only a couple of points for Vango:
The rear wall of the sleeping compartment billows away from the outer wall and could do with an attachment point to the outer wall.
Getting the tent back in its bag is very difficult. I manage it with some effort, but keep the air beam pump separate. If Vango made the tent bag a bit bigger, life would be a lot easier when packing up the tent.
All in all, a very good tent that I would recommend to any camper.

Manufacturer's Description
Great for families on longer holidays, the Vango Taiga offers single or double living area options to suit your family or friends sleeping arrangements. However its truly impressive feature is the fantastic multifunctional outdoor space: an extension with two doors so it can be partially opened, fully opened or the sides can be rolled back to open even wider onto the world. Furthermore, the doors can be put up on king poles to create a massive covered pre-attached extension, spacious enough to shelter a large family, dinner table or al fresco seating area.
