Love our Vancouver. There is lots of room for the four of us regardless of the weather! We tend to keep one end for sleeping and the n split the bedroom at the other end using half for the kids to play in in the morning and half for clothes and changing. We've been using it for 3 years, only leaks in the most torrential rain - easy to pitch and take down- kids stay asleep longer with the dark sleeping areas.

This is a good looking tent and easy to erect. 8 man, 2 large bedrooms at either end of tent that can be split to make 4 smaller bedrooms. Roomy tent. Sewn-in groundsheet, 2 entrance doors. One end of the tent can open out fully to make a canopy, but then you wouldn't be able to erect the bedroom at that end! We won't be using this tent again as it has leaked each time we've used it. The door just seems very flimsy and doesn't appear to be fully sewn in so every time it rained there was water straight down the middle of the tent, shame really because other than that, it would have been a great tent!

We bought this tent second hand to use on a site where our other tent was too large for the pitch size.

We were so happy with it I'm not sure we'll use the other one again. It was easy to erect and for a family of five there was plenty of room.

Although the tent sleeps eight people I think this would be a squeeze in bad weather if you were all forced to sit in the living area at once.

We had heavy rain which caused two leaks- one at the door where we hadn't put the door flap outside the groundsheet (our fault) and one minor leak where we had hung a heavy lantern from the ceiling which obviously put too much pressure on the seam.

Firstly, we loved this tent.

Looked fantastic, easy to put up and take down. Well made, sturdy, loads of room, versatile and good protection from the elements.

We regretted getting a black tent after we camped in a small quiet site in a very secluded area!

Despite us knowing where the tent was (roughly) we had trouble spotting it and could easily have driven over it!.

So we quickly replaced the guy ropes for fluorescent and put solar lamps around!

Next, for some reason ours split several of the end poles! We replaced the split sections, but it happened again and again!

The sections we replaced were ok, but would split somewhere else!

We even had a friend and very much camping veteran (also used to sell tents) erect it once for us, to make sure it wasn't us. We went out for the day came back and whilst sat there unused for a few hours, one had split!

Because of that we sold a great tent, if only the 2 end poles had been the same quality as the rest!

We own this tent and love it. Haven't seen any black tents before. Plenty of room and strong, even more room when taking down one bedroom. As for being black and getting hot inside on sunny days, in my opinion every tent gets hot inside, and why stay in a tent on a sunny day! Anyway, brilliant

I paid £200 for this tent in march plenty of room for 4 I could see it being a squeeze for 8 though. Still a great tent easy to put up and take down. Im 6ft 4' so height is an issue but I can stand up in the tent with ease. 3 main doors on this tent one of which becomes porch/shelter with poles that come supplied plenty of vents, windows with zip covers for privacy.

It looks awesome compared to the useual dull tents out there but there's a price to pay, Same as astherk's review says the black material gets very hot in summer.

We paid £150 for this tent in April 2008. We loved it. It was very easy to put up and didn't take us long at all. We only used 1 of the bedroom pods (for me my husband and 2yr old son) so had a huge living space for tables, chairs, cooker, food etc.

There is a large door at one end but if you have both bedroom pods in use you can only use the side doors.

It looks really good, is easy to put up and is spacious, I would definitely recommend it.

Very impressed with this tent. Quick and easy to erect with the Sewn in Ground Sheet making a huge difference to keeping the interior clean.

You can open the tent as a porch from one end if using only one end for sleeping, otherwise there is a side door which is slightly smaller than would be best but for such a large tent and at the price £150 delivered, I can not fault it!. There are I think 3 different thicknesses of pole for the supports so if you are to invest in spares you will need a selection. Compared to the large Dome tents however this is so easy to put together that there is very little chance of breaking a pole!

1 criticism - Is Black such a good colour for a tent? It looks damn good but gets very hot in the sun!

We bought this tent for £137.00, we found this easy to erect considering it was our first time camping, very spacious, only thing we couldn't figure out was the porch/canopy ? entrance on the end met the back of the bedroom so it can only be used if using one bedroom as you would not be able to enter the tent otherwise, also comes in a handy holdall with separate compartment for inners and pegs.
