1 Reviews of the Zenith 200

By: Lescargo  Reason: I own(ed) one  Made in: 2015   Rating:

I bought one of these tents for a bicycle touring trip to Shetland. I already have an Vango oddesey 200 ( in reviews) which I used for trips to Scotland and the outer hebrides.

I bought it as a smaller lighter version that would be OK in strong winds.

The tent is perfect for this. It pitches all together which takes me about 3 minutes including pegging out.

It has doors both sides with the porch on one side, excellent for lying in bed with the doors open enjoying the view.

The poles and pegs are alloy and light but strong, no bent pegs yet. And the poles collapse down and pack away in my bicycle side pannier and the whole thing stuffs away really small.

I am 6'3' and this is a big concern for me but the tent ends are vertical, unlike a banshee or similar and I can sit up vertically nice and comfortable inside and get fully dressed without struggling.

The tent is a real joy to use after a long day in the saddle,

Why only 9/10.? Because I cannot leave the two short end poles in their sleeves to roll it up and pack away in its bag, give the bag an extra 2 inches and it would get 10, which adds about ten seconds when pitching/breaking camp, how pedantic :-)
