3 Reviews of the Zetes 400
By: Nuku Reason: I've used one Made in: 2012 Rating:
Very easy to use, fun for the kids to put up and is a very good price compared to others of this similar size and quality. It is very spacious with a good size porch a which hold quite a lot of gear for the whole family. Perfect for short stays and quick getaways with the family of your partner. It can withstand a lot of high winds, gusting some gales that may cause some to fold at times. The materials are lightweight and just to take the wind though can be quite noisy.

After using my Ztes for a year now I can say that it has good points and bad, but mainly good.
The good points- it has stood up to high winds, gusting to gail force at times, there was a lot of flapping about of the materials but it held up just fine.
It has stood up to heavy rain really well with not a drop getting inside.
The bad points, there are only two- firstly the powerflex poles are a wrestling match to locate in there pins.
The other point is Vango seem to have built in the option for other campers entertainment, a strap at the porch entrance, which is strategically positioned so as to be about 2 inches off the ground ( perfect for tripping you up )!
They have put two brass eyelets in the strap so it can be pegged down but there is no mention of this in the instructions and no pegs to do this are supplied.
Don't be put off getting one though as the value for money is very good

I initially bought this to use for myself and the kids but we have also used it for short stays/overnight stops as a family. So easy to put up the kids can almost do it on their own. Very sturdy in bad weather although the porch area can let in water if it rains. I wouldn't let this stop you buying it though, the porch area is a useful size and can hold quite a lot of gear.
One double airbed and two singles fit inside - just! Fine for sleeping 2 adults and 2 kids but 4 adults would definitely be cosy.
For the price and the tunnel design I love this tent and would recommend to others.
