5 Reviews of the Cygnus 6

Great tent, huge, easy to put up with just 2 people, this tent can withstand the most awful weather. We have just brought it back from Snowdonia where it was blowing a real hooly, horizontal torrential rain the river burst it's banks and the tent was a foot under water.Got it down in an unorthodox fashion due to the weather and shoved it in the car soaking wet.Got home put it up again to dry and its fine. Fantastic

Great family tent, and also when just my husband and I spent a week away from it all. We've found that leaving porch door down and leaving kitchen in that area, using other door helps to avoid any accidents when walking through. Only problem we've had is that we are both under 5'5' thus can be a bit of a stretch putting up.

Got this tent after being rained on in our old one, and realising it wasn't really big enough for 4 of us. This one certainly is! Have shared it with another family of 3 one weekend too - easily squished 2 adults and 2 children into one side! Fab size tent - room for double airbag and holdalls etc in each bedroom, loads of living space, and cooker/kitchen set up in entrance porch - also loads of room to kick off boots, wet coats etc before getting into main living area. Went camping with crowd of friends - around 12 families -(everyone had upgraded since last time -like camping show!) 3 had this tent! Would highly recommend. Last time we used it got rained on (as usual aug bank hol!) so collapsed it under the outer tent -saved inner getting wet and don't think it took any longer - just a bit of practise needed!

We got one for £89.99 brand new. Great tent, like 3madboyz has said plenty of room in it. We used it in Gairloch last week, stood up to the wind and rain no problem. Would recommend this tent to anyone wanting a great family tent

We bought the Cygnus last year as we wanted a 'long stay' tent.
After searching for weeks we came up with this little gem (or should I say big?)
It has everything that is needed for a longer family holiday- oodles of room, pretty simple to pitch, it stood up well in poor weather, sewn in groundsheet. The list goes on!
It has two large bedrooms with stand-up height( I'm 6'4' )and found that we could use one room for sleeping and the other for storage (wardrobe boogie boards, etc.) and use the extended porch area to cook in with still plenty of room to use as an entrance!
The tent has plenty of windows and ventilation (only drawback is that the porthole windows in the living area are only able to have mesh or be closed- would have been nice to have p.V.C to see through in poor weather) The idea of the full length window in the back door is great and also adds to the non-claustrophobic feel to the tent.
All in all would recommend this tent to anyone looking for a larger family dome.
