1 Reviews of the Indus 8
By: PipLeP Reason: I own(ed) one Made in: 2005 Rating:
I love this tent - the main living area is spacious (no-one has to stoop!) airy & perfect for the kids to play on a rainy day. On hot days, its handy having both doors open as this creates a really nice through breeze. The big windows make the interior really light and the zip up curtains are a great idea.
Considering its width & height, its easy to put up (even in wind and rain!) & I have even done it once on my own (I'm 5ft 8, female). The colour coded poles are simple and there are fewer of them than I would have thought.
The only thing I would change about the Indus 8, is the sleeping compartment layout. Since buying the tent back in 2006, we have had 2 babies & I don't feel happy with them being in a different compartment to us at night time (even with the dog on guard!) - for me it would be ideal to have this tent with one large sleeping compartment; 4 in one bedroom is a bit of a squash!
All in all though, I love this tent and would highly recommend it.
