Have used a few times, gets quicker to put up each time, need at least 2 x people to erect.
Inner tents easy to get wrong.
Quality good but have had lower flap easily tear.
Excellent size for family, have bought porch from Go outdoors to make it even larger, but not used it yet.
Has been good in windy conditions, no leaks at all.
A good all round family tent.

The tent is similar to the Mercury 9 however there is another door opposite the existing one which creates a symmetrical shape.
This is a huge tent that offers a large door at either end of the living space. I am 1.8m tall and I can walk through the doors without stooping and the highest point of the inner dome is easily 2.5m.
Currently there are 3 pods which comprise of 2 off 2 man pods on the same side and opposite there is 1 off 5 man pod. The internals of the tent only allow this combination due to colour coded holes inside the tent for each pod.
Erecting is a two man job but the colour coded poles make this straight forward task. The dimensions are roughly 7.5m X 7.5m so allow 50 sq M when requesting a pitch. There are 4 clear plastic triangular patches either side of the doors however the highest point of the dome does not have any clear slots.
Overall I am fully satisfied (and quite proud) of my tent which has never let me down. It is a heavy lump which is split up between my trailer and roof box to avoid the complicated folding routine to allow a complete bagging up which never went the same way twice!

The Wynnster Mercury 9 Excel is a best selling family tent. It features three bedrooms and a large living area with plenty of headroom and and two extended porches .
This really is a great tent for family holidays as it provides accomodation that is both versatile and comfortable. The Mercury 9 Excel is a great family sized dome tent that pitches flysheet first making it easy to assemble.
The tent has large PVC windows with covers (and in the bedrooms) so that you can watch the world go by and allow light in but maintain your privacy. The Mercury 9 Excel also benefits from ventilation panels over the bedrooms which help to reduce the build up on condensation. The draught-guards around the living area are ideal for ventilation control and increased comfort.
Porch poles are supplied to provide shelter over the entrance doorway.
