2 Reviews of the Osprey 8

This tent is so easy to put up my 11 year old son and myself can put it up fully (insides as well) in twenty mins its great value for money and very practical.

I rate this 10 out of 10.It has a built in porch and the bedrooms all have a separate mesh doors for better ventilation if its hot at night.

All the poles are colour coded for easy use as are the ground clips that they fit into.

I own one of these tents and would recommend it to anyone, it`s big enough for a family of 6 (4 kids , 2 Adults ), with room to spare. The 2 double sleeping compartments are big enough for a double blow up bed and you still don`t feel cramped. The larger bedroom compartment can fit the kids with their beds and the luggage. The living area is big enough for a table, 6 chairs and walk around space.

The only reason I didn`t give it 10 out of 10 was because of the tent pegs. You will need to buy some more sturdier ones, the one`s they supply are like bits of wire.

Other than that a first class tent, easy to erect and dismantle, and very roomy.

Our 1st week camping in it we had 40 mph winds and rain for most of the days and nights, and this tent had no leeks and was still standing even after all the wind.

# The tent pitches Flysheet first and should take two people 30 mins to pitch.
# All fabrics used in for the flysheet, sleeping compartments and groundsheets have been given a Fire Retardant treatment, which in the event of an emergency will allow significantly more time to escape.
# The complete interior of the tent (the communal space and bedrooms) has the benefit of an integral, bathtub style groundsheet and secondary mesh doors, which will effectively keep this space free from insects and draughts.
