5 Reviews of the Raven 6
By: Dodo72 Reason: I own(ed) one Made in: 2008 Rating:
Simple to put up. Plenty of room inside.Comes in a large bag.
Not long come back from having a short break away. There were five of us in the tent and one of those was a toddler. The other four were adults. We did have a couple of nights of heavy rain and wind made no difference to the tent. No leaks no snapped poles. Highly recommended.

We love it. Haven't faulted yet. First time we put it up, it was in heavy rain and wind. It went up with no difficulty. It was the only one that survived that weekend. The sewn in ground sheet stop the flow of water entering the tent, unlike the others. The colour coded poles etc are a fabulous idea, making it so easy to put up. The only drips we have ever had, is a bit of condensation. We found a small fan heater sorts that. Both side have a zip to pass the electric hook up through.
My husband can stand in it. He is 6ft and there is still height clearance. Now there is only the two of us, and the two dogs, we use the double a as wardrobe/dressing room and the single for the porta pottie!
On the occasions, when we have had to pack it up wet, we find it dries out very quickly when we spread it out to dry back home.
The windows are deep and large, enabling a good view of the scenery from the comfort of your chair.
Even more amazingly, it fits back into its bag every time.

When looking for a tent we wanted a tunnel tent with 3 'rooms' (as there are 5 of us), but preferably with the kids rooms at the other end of the tent to ours, with no separate doors from outside into the kids rooms. This fitted the bill.
It is quick and easy to put up (having a footprint groundsheet definitely helps), has withstood wind and rain (like the previous reviewer, had a few drips but no major leaks) and has a spacious living area in the centre.
We have used it for 5 trips now and although I always go around the campsites looking at what other people have got, I haven't seen another tent I'd rather have.

This tent has just the right amount of space for us, being a family of 5. We only use the 3 person end for 2, so there is storage space in there as well.
In the centre area we've had a fold out table and chairs when the weather's been poor outside. I would agree with the earlier comments about it being easy to erect.
It loses one mark because in heavy prolonged rain we have had few very tiny drips, but not enough to make me want any other tent, I'm very happy with this one.

Really simple to erect: colour coded and no crossovers: my 8 year old and I did it in less than 30 minutes the first time and in less then 20 ever since. Loads of room.
Has kept us dry in rain and snug in the wind. Has withstood heavy winds and horizontal rain with no leaks. Very satisfied overall. Great family tent for short breaks in all weathers. Highly recommended.
