We bought this tent for not a lot of money around about 5 years ago from JR Leisure. As a 4 person camping tent for a week, it's useless. As a lads weekend away tent it's brilliant.

Easy to setup, standing height, plenty of room for 2 blokes, packs away easily and becomes a relatively small item in the boot.

This has now become, to the envy of a lot of friends, my Le Mans tent. It'll sleep two of us comfortably and store all our kit, including road bikes in the porch easily. It's sturdy enough to sope with the bad weather and more waterproof than the single skin pop up jobbies my mates turn up in each year and get soaked in.

I won this tent, by lending tent pegs to a family of 4 adults, who had come away without any tent pegs, minimal equipment, and were pitching in torrential rain.

Soaked to the skin, they gave up after an hour, said they were going home and that I could keep the tent, when I retrieved my pegs. Thank you folks, it's come in handy a few times!

Although rated as a 4 person tent, 4 adults were never going to sleep in comfort in a tent this size.

It's certainly adequate for 2 adults and a child though, and is really just for sleeping / shelter.

It's an easy pitch, less than ten minutes including pegging out, so OK for overnight stops.

Downside, being a dark blue, it's a bit dark inside, but that's of no consequence at night!

The Wynnster Shrike 4 is a popular dome tent which benefits from a large porch / entrance that provides plenty of storage space. Perfect for weekend getaways.

The Shrike 4 pitches flysheet first making it quick and easy to assemble. It will take two people about 10 mins to erect. The Wynnster Shrike 4 is an excellent tent for touring and leisure use.

# Polyurethane coatings to the flysheet fabric provide a level of waterproofing that is more than twice that required by the British Standard level to be classified as waterproof.
# Seams are heat sealed with polyurethane tape to ensure complete waterproof protection.
# Each tent is supplied with a repair kit and they include useful items to carry out emergency repairs.
# All fabrics used for the flysheet, sleeping compartments and the groundsheets have been given a fire retardant treatment, which in the event of an emergency will allow significantly more time to escape.
# Apron style porch groundsheet.
