This tent has plenty of room for a small family. The inner tent has a zip in (or out!) divider which effectively provides two bedrooms. The inner has two doors with fly screens and sewn-in groundsheet making it insect proof and the outer main tent also has a sewn-in groundsheet making it double thickness to the inner tent. The front door zips down each side and rigid poles are included to enable it to be put up as a canopy. Being a tunnel tent, it has great headroom throughout including full headroom in the bedrooms. Above the front door, there is a large zip to allow the optional canopy to be fitted. I was lucky enough to buy this tent, along with canopy, in an end of season sale making it exceptional value for money. My only criticism is that the front door only zips down the sides and not along the bottom, allowing the upstand edge of the groundsheet to flap around and let in the wind. I have used Velcro pads to make it close better but it is still not creepy crawly proof. I will be looking at ways to improve this before venturing out in the coming year. Verdict: If you are looking for a good all-rounder, this may be the tent for you. Camping is all about making compromises but the Valencia 400 is easy to live with, with less compromises than most. A useful family tent which ticks all the boxes.

The tent is big enough for 2 adults, maybe three at a push, Its easy and simple to set up. Outer first then inner, both have SIG. Plenty of guy lines and the poles seem strong enough.Could do with some hooks inside for hanging lamps etc and better instructions for first time use. The door doesn't fasten at the bottom, only zips down the sides so the door flaps in the wind and lets in a draught, attaching velcro or using clips helps this but it is a flaw in the design. The headroom is adequate and the sleeping compartments will take two campbeds in easily. Overall a good beginner tent but you will probably want to upgrade after a couple of seasons.
