Our first proper easy erect tent. With its colour coded inner/ outer and rods it's a doddle to put up. I would consider a Wynnster make again definitely. It's been a good friend and been sturdy and trustworthy in all that the British spring, summer and autumn weather has thrown at us. It is a great tent for two to three adults and/or the equivalent children.

The first tent my wife and I owned together.
Plus points: Very good, high ceilinged living accommodation, spacious and airy.
Bad points: Groundsheet separate, never could stop the draught coming through in the living area(despite the wife's attempts using antything not nailed down).
Sleeping compartments are all-in-one units, however, and very cosy.
If I was looking for a tent again, I probably wouldn't buy another of these for not having a sown-in groundsheet. However, the separate groundsheet makes it easier to clean after a muddy weekend.

Have just tried the 2005 version of this tent and really impressed with the space and the materials. Lots of attention to detail, stood up to a deluge and very strong winds. Current version has 2 bedrooms 2 + 3 berth and slight changes to windows but would definitely recommend this for a couple or small family. 3 doors gives great flexibility if the wind changes direction and for privacy. Inner tent very good quality - best I've seen in this type of tent. May add a canopy so that side door can be left open in rain.

The Wynnster Venus 5 is a truely versatile tent and an excellent choice for weekends away and short holidays.
The Venus 5 is a dome tent that pitches flysheet first making it quick and easy to assemble. It has a spacious, domed living area which benefits from three doors and plenty of windows providing a light and airy space.
The Venus 5 has large PVC windows with covers and the main door has a massive PVC panel so that you can watch the world go by and allow in light but maintain your privacy.
The tent also benefits from pre-angled pole joints that maximise the internal headroom and space in the bedrooms and has draught guards around the living area for ventilation control and increased comfort. The three large doors are idea for flexible access into the tent in all weather conditions.
