6 Reviews of the Aerodome II Classic

Simply the best tent I've ever owned. It's big but the lack of poles means it fits into our roofbox more easily that our Khyam XXL. The attention to detail in the way it's been designed is outstanding, from the aluminium guy tensioners to the pockets where you can stow open doors - a simple feature but it removes the hassle of rolling and tying up the doors - and stacks of ventilation meaning it's easy to get a breeze flowing throughout the tent. Takes literally minutes to erect and even less time to take down and comes with seriously heavy duty straps. Superb!

Went to the NEC in February 2015 to buy an air beam tent after owning a Coleman, was disappointed with the standard run of the mill tunnel tents by the major companies. Then I found Mr Zempire! My initial concern was there weren't many windows which amused him immensely until I pointed out us Brits like to look out of the window at the rain when we go camping! Negotiated a good deal and camped 3 times last year, each time the tent went up effortlessly and received admiring glances from fellow campers. Love the fact it has a unique, well thought about design by a passionate designer and looks sexy! Have ordered the awning and can't wait to go camping again this year. Check out the Zempire website, you won't regret it!

We have reviewed the Aerodome II below but this is for the new awning. Following the launch of Aerodome at the NEC in February last we had waited a while for the availability of the zip on awning. With good luck behind us we managed to get one of the very few in the country and took it to Serignan this September. All I can say is that like the tent it performed superbly. Despite a serious weather warning by France Meteo where everyone was advised to take down gazebos etc the awning/ tent combination never failed.
We had the smaller awning option which gave us a major increase in living space when the weather was poor.
I think the large awning might struggle to fit on many sites?
Anyway, 10/10 marks again.
Note to Zempire, your product is superb but the UK marketing is naff. You could take over the market here with a bit of knowledge.

This is an absolutely fabulous tent in every way. As it is an air tent it is obviously really easy to pitch and take down in only a few minutes and can be done by one person easily. The dome design means it is incredibly stable and even in breezy conditions the tent hardly moves.
The interior layout gives us everything we need. The two pods are of equal size and are much larger than most on the market. Despite being a light coloured tent which I like, the pods inside are of a darker fabric to block out some of the early morning light. The ends can be opened up in various ways to allow extra light and ventilation as required. The living space is ample and the integrated porch, whilst not huge is easily big enough to store shoes, coats and to set up a little kitchen area if desired.
I would highly recommend this tent if you are looking for an air tent and I am really pleased that we have found it.
I have only one negative comment to make, the tent is not easy to pack away in the bag. I have always had Outwell tents and love their big round bag design whereas this one is very square and often takes a few attempts to get it back in the bag. It is only a small point however and should definitely not put anyone off opting for this tent.

I went to the NEC Camping show in feb this year looking to buy an air beam tent to replace an old dome tent. I wasn't too enthused by the offerings from the mainstream manufacturers considering the prices they were asking. Then I found the Zempire stand and was immediately smitten by the Aerodome II. It matched my brief perfectly, just the right size, good porch area and lots of features such as ventilation, storage, etc. The quality of the show tent was superb and enough to convince me to order one on the spot.
It took a while to arrive but had it in time for a few days camping in the new Forrest over the May bank holiday. It went up a treat and matched the quality of the show tent. It was nice weather and having the ability to open the tent up the solid panels on all four sides of the tent was a real bonus and help massively to keep the tent cool.
I can highly recommend this tent and I'm very pleased I found it before opting for one of my shortlisted Vango or Outwell models.

We waited 3 months for the delivery of this tent from NZ and it was worth it. We just used it for 3 weeks in the south of France and the temperatures were high. (30+ every day. Due to the permanent mesh vents in the base and roof the tent stayed relatively cool throughout whereas our old equivalent Vango could not cope. Also we suffered a mega storm one day with huge hailstones - no problems at all. Worth every penny.

The Aerodome II layout features a rooms on each side of a central living area. The rooms (or privacy pods) can be also be removed to create a large open plan living space.

The Front wall of the central living area also completely zip open. This creates a seamless transition between the indoor and outdoor living areas of the tent.
The front vestibule area is an ideal outdoor indoor space providing protection for the sun and elements, while the two large windows offer light while blocking wind and rain. The vestibule area also creates a transit area during wet weather allowing you to remove your wet and sandy gear before entering the tent.
