This is an update to the OneTigris Smokey Hut, as it has now been up in wind and rain, and remained solid and utterly watertight.

I have upgraded a few things, such as fitting slightly thicker bungee loops around the peripheral peg out points, and in the apex, a hanging loop for an inner mosquito net/groundsheet (sold separately, also cheaper variations available elsewhere online) was poorly sewn and coming away. This I resewed and reinforced in minutes and made a leather and foam reinforcing pad for the apex.

You can, and many do, use a wood burner in this tent, as it has a flap for a stove jack pre fitted.

Without the stove it is a roomy and capable for two people on the trail and all rucksacks. With the tipi design, it takes absolutely no time to pitch and can pack down very small, with an all up weight of 1.2 kg

Less than a kilo without the poles.Cut one on site or suspend the tent from above. It has a prefitted loop for this too.

Perfect for the backpacker.

This is designed for lightweight trail camping, but all season, as it has a flue flap for hot stoves. (Plenty of videos on You Tube.)

It is a very lightweight (sil nylon) tipi style shelter or tent, complete with alloy folding centre pole, or a hanging loop. It has a floor diameter of about 10 feet. Pegs (good quality light t-section pegs) are supplied for the periphery, but the tent also has 8 guy out points for extra stability in windy conditions, but they don't supply pegs for all of these, nor do they supply ALL the guylines, only 4. Seems a bit swingy? Stingy? Hence the reduction in stars.

But easily corrected and in no way prevents usage of the tent.

The doorway can open the shelter right up and can be easily rolled and hooked back

In the interests of keeping weight down, it does not come with a groundsheet, but one can add OneTigris' own full size mosquito inner/groundsheet combo, or cheaper versions are also available (single berth) very cheaply. That's what I have.

The tent can be erected in a minute or two, and packs down to about kitchen roll size. You could sleep 3 or 4 and kit , but it depends on how you want to customize the inside for your usage.

Hydrostatic head is 3000mm, and it uses a waterproof zip.

If you need a versatile and all season shelter, not too expensive, and very light and compact, this is definitely worth a look, and can be found heavily discounted (AliExpress)
