I bought this second hand as a tent I can put up with minimal help for when I wanted to take the children away on my own. I could probably have put it up on my own but had the children hold the pins in the rings so they could 'help'. It went up easy with the good weather we had although with in 24 hours that changed to what I would consider seriously windy.
In the wind the front distorted even though I had pegged the front guy lines to the front of the tent so it could do with additional guy points supporting the poles, once the wind died down there were no snapped poles so maybe I was worrying too much.
The torrential rain that followed was also a good test, it dripped in the front door when the weather strips hadn't been velcroed down leaving but once corrected the drips were minimal and probably only as a result of the error. Due to the shape of the tent the rain did get it when doors were opened but this was to be expected.
Over all this is excellent value for money but does have all the normal poly tunnel tent flaws that having owned many cotton tents I just can't be happy with so will have to pay much more for something to suit my needs/wants.

We bought a second hand Gelert Corona 6 for £30, including an extension and it was money well spent. 2 of us managed to put the tent up in under half an hour in pouring rain and windy conditions, and it was completely dry when we got in it.
The tent easily survived a night of 80mph winds and heavy rain. There was a slight problem with some rain getting in under the door, bit this was easily solved with a rolled up towel!
The tent was huge for 2 of us - we didn't need to use the extension.
We stayed for a week comfortably, so it's not just a weekend tent.
Just counting the days until we can use it again.

Got this make of tent as it is renowned of its quality. Easy to put up and stands it's frowned against quite high winds. The height is good enough to stand up in with some clearance, about 6 foot.
The two chambers are good, except that the divide is a thin, material that's way to see through than it should be.
It stands up to rain quite well but does start to leak after a while. Mostly from the corner of the side door and the hold backs on the outside of the roof.
Good if you can get it for a great price, but wouldn't pay full price.

I loved the initial design of the tent with a large bedroom, and a living area with 'windows' so if raining you could sit in the living area and look out.
I was on my own camping with a dog, so it would be a little perturbing to share the bedroom with 6 people, with only a cotton sheet separating two areas if required.
It was easy to put up and took me less than an hour on my own.
I was impressed with the sewn in groundsheet and the sides of the floor came up at the bottom to stop any rain rolling in, kept the tent warmer.
On a negative side the door was sloped with the bottom of the door sticking out from the top, so a puddle could develop if there is a gap which rolled down to the lowest point of the groundsheet.
I also had the misfortune in October of having (60-70 mph)high winds which in the end led to 2 out of 3 of the frames collapsing, forcing me to temporarily abandon the tent, before replacing poles the following day.
I will definitely use the tent again, but would probably only use it in the summer.

My self and my family (other half plus two boys 3 and 5) purchased one of these from Tesco for £60. We have done two long weekends so far this summer and have found this tent to be almost perfect for us.
Good points:
1, Very easy to put up - I can do it myself within 30 mins or so.
2, Excellent sized bedroom which is great for a young family. Fits two double air beds easily (with enough room spare for clothes, cuddly toys, etc.
3, Having two entrances is brilliant for the hot weather and also for pitching it with privacy in mind - as you can choose your tent position easier.
4, Very handy pockets built into the bedroom compartment - both on the outside (towards living area) and inside at bottom both sides
Bad points:
1, Can't find custom footprint or carpets from Gelert (and their customer service is shocking by the way. I use a 4m x 5m Tarp and a few picnic blankets which work well.
2, A small amount of water will enter via the zips on both doors as the Velcro flaps don't cover them sufficiently.
3, There should be (in my humble and very inexperienced opinion!) additional guy ropes to the front of the tent above the entrance door. I understand that these would get in the way when door is open - but in windy conditions they really are needed (and in those conditions you wouldn't have the door open anyway)
So I am currently looking for some kind of attachment to clip onto the tent poles to provide support to the much needed guy ropes - so if you have any ideas please let me know!
4, Very draughty - doors do not have zips at bottom only to the sides.
But overall recommended for light/occasional use.

Im new to camping and have used my Gelert corona 6 on my last 3 camping trips. Its a great size for a family loads of living space. 1st time pitching the pin for the middle pole just wouldn't reached the pole, gave up trying so my dad just used pegs to stop the pole moving, its stayed up no issues anyway even in a full night of heavy rain. Since then the pin has reached the end of pole. I haven't had any leaks stayed nice and dry. I have been able to pitch it myself with the help of my 12yr old daughter. Loving it so far and bought it for under £50 so can't complain really.

Bought as a Christmas pressie for daughter and family, as they borrow our tent when they camp and this way we could go together. But over easter SIL got his holiday cancelled so we all piled into this on its maiden trip. Easy to pitch, we used the 'cross camping method' and grandad and 12 year old managed with only a little help from the girls. Thank you for other reviews. All granny kept chanting was grey pole at the back!
Tight fit for 3 adults and 2 kids in the bedrooms, we used 2 large double air beds. The flimsy divider did mean the 4 year old could move between beds when she felt like it, but like others have mentioned it isn't really a bedroom 'wall'. But space should be perfect for 2 adults & 2 kids though.
We had heavy rain one night and wind and rain another night with absolutely no problems dry as a bone but the side doors minimal Velcro was draughty!
We managed to fix our horizon side canopy which made a great space for the kitchen etc and left loads of room in the main living area for sitting in the evening.
A ehu entry would have been great, we used the side door which probably didn't help the draught.
All in all they were very pleased with their pressie and I was pleased with my £37.50 purchase!

This is the third year we've used this tent. I always wish I had just a bit more non bedroom space and a door which can be used as a porch, but as we're occasional campers it's adequate for the one or two times we use it a year.
We are 2 adults and 2 older children so we separate the bedroom compartment using the flimsy but ok divider. We also picked this up for cheap from Tesco so got a bargain.
The first time we used it, the whole tent flooded and we thought it was leaking but this turned out to be our novice mistake and hadn't pulled the back out enough and it was touching the inner tent ! Add torrential rain and it spells disaster.
And yes, grey pole at the back peeps x
