4 Reviews of the Eiger 2

This is a cracking tent. I usually camp by myself, so a 2-man tent is perfect for me. With two people, it'll be cosy. First pitch is very simple, but the tent does stretch, so re-peg after a few hours.

No leaks, no tears. Don't pitch the inner too tight, or the inner won't close.

Very good tent for very reasonable money. I paid less than £30 from Amazon.

I've taken it on two trips to North Wales this year and despite some pretty heavy rain and strong winds both times I've never had any problems with rain getting into the living area. Getting the tent back into its bag can take some practice but once you master that it takes about 20 minutes to put up or pack away.

Simple to put up and take down

'breathes' well

Can take a fair amount of rain before getting damp inside

Nice and handy!

Just returned from a week in Scotland, it rained! First night was a bit of a worry as I hadn't camped in it before! awoken, after a patchy sleep, to more rain and NO leaks anywhere! I was very pleasantly surprised, I thought it wouldn't have been any good for the price I paid, but it has proved itself impressively! I was camping on my own, on my scooter, so there was loads of room, but I think if there had been 2 it would have been a bit more cramped. Overall a lovely piece of kit and a bargain at under £20.00!
