I bought this tent to use as a cook tent, and have to say it really delivers. It has ample room, at 2m x 2m and is over 2m high, It has steel poles for the uprights and fibreglass poles over the roof, twin guy lines on each of the steel poles, and plenty of pegging points at the skirt.

We have only used it once so far but the weather was awful, it didn't leak, nor was it affected by the heavy winds. The tub style, clip in groundsheet worked well to prevent any water entering from the bottom also.

The only downside that I could think of is the windows, for my money it could do with another in the back. However I am nit picking now.

I wanted a cook tent that I could use for a quick weekender where I wasn't catering for a lot of people. It is only 8.5 Kg (half the weight of my Oklahoma) and has a footprint of 2m X 2m. Ample headroom at over 2m and a good hh of 3000mm. The weight is kept down by using fibreglass poles for the roof and steel uprights. It proved to be a good combination of strength and flexibility in its first outing in heavy rain & gusts up to 30mph. The 4 corner guys and ground pegs kept it in place along side 2 side pegs each side and a storm skirt. With the Oklahoma, the storm skirt is pegged and I was concerned that this might be a problem with the Kampa but because its a bit smaller, it was never an issue.

In summary, this is a typical Kampa tent, designed to a high spec and seems built to last (SEAMS built to last as well!) and a welcome addition to my growing set of tents!
