1 Reviews of the Macpac Microlight

By: Jrtonks  Reason: I own(ed) one  Made in: 2011   Rating:

I use my one man microlight for backpacking in all weather, mostly in wet and cold weather admittedly. The tent is very warm, lightweight, and holds up well in the wind and rain. More negatively it is tiny and a challenge to get in and out of, and to dress comfortably. In particularly bad weather rain blows in through the vent and through into the inner if you have the mesh panel open - which you invariably will unless you like condensation. As a lightweight sleeping solution this tent excels, but if you are the kind of camper who likes to focus their camping activities around their tent, then this is not for you.
