8 Reviews of the Double Outhouse

Great to keep the cooking out of the main tent, and yet still out of the rain. Good points: Small pack size, lots of room, fairly easy to put up. Bad Points:Ground pegs useless in high wind, need to use deltas, needs more pegging points. Two poles broke in mine on second week of use in 20MPH winds. Fixed with Duct tape, but I expected better. Still think its worth getting though.

I love my utility tent. Brilliant piece of kit. I agree that it needs some extra pegging points (hence only 9/10), I'm going to use clingons to solve this next time. I love this tent so much that when I asked my 5 year old what he thought Mummy liked best about camping he said 'Your utility tent' I think I may have mentioned once or twice that I love this tent.

I love my Outhouse and would really struggle without it. Like others I thnk extra guying points on the back wall are a necessity for high winds (hence 9/10 instead of 10/10), I solved it on mine with a couple of clingons and it makes cooking safer - no billowing now. Good height, allows me to cook inside in the English summer rain. I would (and do) regularly recommend these - I think campsites should encourage them (with no pitching fees) as a safety measure to keep cookers out of the main tent.

A great utility tent and a very good price, very handy for the extra's and wet gear. Mine came with a ground sheet.
I was surprised that there are no pegging loops on the skirt, other than next to the access door. The sides and rear could do with a loop or two
A very versatile bit of kit

I used this for our kitchen tent as car space was at a premium. I was very pleased with it.Good bit of kit and excellent value for money.I haven't had to use it in high winds but it was perfect in heavy rain, plenty of room inside and I was able to cook inside it,while it was raining and the size of it being only 3 kg and a small pack size was just what I want. Mine didn't come with a groundsheet, but I wouldn't have used it anyway.I will be using this in preference to my daytent from now on.

First time I've had a utility tent. Now I wouldn't be without this one. It was so easy to put up, only 2 poles, and a tiny packed size. It stood up in gale force winds which flattened our tunnel tent. Could do with an extra pegging loop in the centre back wall, to stop it blowing in the very high winds though. Main tent was so much more clutter free withall the kitchen gear in this one, and we put the kids scooters in there overnight too.

This is a really handy and versatile little utility tent that keeps the main tent clutter free. It packs away small and neatly and can easily be thrown in the car. Mine came with a separate groundsheet which I didn't expect. It is quick and easy to erect and surprisingly spacious. Good value for money and a handy addition.

A spacious and useful utility tent, ideal for storing the bikes in or to use for cooking should it be windy.
Small when packed away and easy to erect, done in a matter of a few minutes.
A handy tent for the overnight stop when you do not want the whole kit up.
