Used this for two 5 night camping trips now.
Quite a sturdy little tent, however I did find that unless you're on perfectly level ground, it will sag a bit, and you'll be choking on the inners!
On the second trip it rained quite a bit, and the windows dripped water onto the inners, but luckily we didn't get soaked.
The toggles that hold the door once it's rolled up also seem to be a weak point for letting in water.
To say this comfortably fits a family of four is an overstatement, the sleeping pods will fit 2 people each in them, but no room for bags, so these have to go in the already small 'living' area.

Got this tent as a gift from a relative. Went away to Loch Tay with our 2 young kids (6 and 8) and it was perfect for our 2 nights away.
The sleeping compartments were quite spacious and the tent was really easy to put up. The central space wasn't that big but didn't find much need to be in there other than getting the kids ready for bed.
There was no rain so not sure how watertight it is but there was some morning due which hadn't seeped through.
All in all we thought it was a great starter tent and has got us interested in camping.
Will maybe look at bigger tents as the kids get older but this is fine just now.

You get what you pay for when buying a tent! Me and my husband bought this tent and although it is spacious enough for the 2 of us we find that the bedrooms are not big enough for a double airbed, it causes the pod to push on the outside of the tent. Also our tent leaks on quite a few of the seams, one above the bedroom pod and we could put the pod on the other side but only one side has the skirt around the bottom. We also found it difficult to keep the fly sheet tight enough around the bedrooms and find it sags onto the pod.

My son in law bought the starter pack as a taster for his family to give camping a go. My wife and I gave the tent its first outing in May 2009. To call it a four man tent is a bit rich, we slept in one bedroom and used the second one for storage. My daughter and hubby then went for a weekend camping and they decided it was way to small for their needs, two adults plus two kids. We had a family chat went to Winfields and bought a Sunncamp Shadow 600. We use the Pro Action tent as an extra when we go family camping, the wife and me use it one in each bedroom. I have used it a few times when solo camping and I have found it OK, easy to erect, snug and no leaks. I use extra ground sheets and if carefully pegged out the tent is flap free. I gave it 6 out of 10 because it does not do what it says on the box, but having said that not a bad little tent.

I have used this tent several times, it has been pitched for up to 2 weeks at a time and has remained leak proof, having been in 2 thunder storms, and various other rain conditions that comes with the British weather!
Although it looks small, I think it is quite big on the inside for a starter tent. I use it with my partner, one side for sleeping in, the other for storage. I think it would suit a small family/couple best in terms of size.
Easy to put up, even if windy. Harder to put away, have to get it quite small to get it back in the bag, one of the only downsides is it could be a bit lighter if having to carry it to site, ok if in a car.
Overall it is a good tent, mine might be slightly different in spec as my inners have ground sheets attached, and one separate groundsheet for the middle of the tent.

I bought this tent for 4 adults for general weekends with family. It was adequate for maybe 1 or 2 nights but rather cramped for more that this. Really is no good for 4 adults, may suit family with kids, or festival. We had rain and it leaked the first night. However after that it never leaked at all and was quite waterproof. I am told this is normal to seal the tents outer layer. Don't know if this is true but it did work.
I would advise anyone to get the starter pack for occasional use, but not for long breaks as there's nowhere to store belongings, chairs etc. All depends on what you need from the tent. All in all I was satisfied with the tent and my partner and I will use it ourselves in the summer months.

Like others we bought this as a precursor to more regular family camping trips. My partner and I spent a weekend away with the dog to test it out and had no complaints.
It was easy to put up and had enough room for what we needed, we read the spec before we bought it so weren't expecting a mansion!
The sleeping bags were very good and warm, although the airbeds were a bit skinny. We put yoga mats underneath and had a fab nights sleep.
Again as others have said cooking needs to be outside but the porch combined with a windbreak provided us with enough shelter.
Does exactly what it says on the packet, a starter pack and has given us a great, cost effective, start to camping which we can develop in the future if we decide to continue. Would recommend to small families wishing for a cheap but effective way to spend a weekend.

Not bad for a family-sized starter tent. We bought this in summer last year with a view to having a break or two away in lieu of a foreign holiday. We took it on a three night stay at Bunn Leisure in Selsey during August and found it to be leak-proof, wind resistant and an enjoyable little tent.
The extras such as the sleeping bags and the airbeds were absolutely fine - no problems.
The two drawbacks with this are the lack of headroom and the lack of living space. For our family of four, we found it pretty cramped and our children are little too. But, we knew what we were getting when we bought it and we had a great holiday with it.
As a weekend tent this is fab but it is little hence 7 stars. We've just bought a Gelert Horizon 8 tent for longer trips away and we are going to Newquay Holiday Park with PArkdean in August.Review to follow.

We bought this tent pack from Argos this May. We wanted to try camping as a family but didn't want to spend a fortune and then find out we didn't like it. This pack was real value for money and the airbeds/ sleeping bags are well made. The tent itself was quite adequate although the groundsheets were quite small. The tent has remained watertight when we used it but for a family of four we found it quite cramped.

Bought this tent in Sept 2008 to go away for a long weekend with friends. 3 of us used it, my husband me and my 10 year old daughter and it was adequate.
It came with 2 single airbeds and sleeping bags and a double airbed and sleeping bag so didn't have to rush out and buy some which came in handy as it was our first time camping, BUT The airbeds were so uncomfortable as they were no more than glorified lilos, the double sleeping bag only had 1 zipped side so I kept getting suffocated!
My 10 year old was the only one who could stand up inside it so kept getting backache!
We had to cook outside and luckly it was the best Weekend of the year and didn't rain also a friend had a gazebo so kept all our stuff in it as there was no room in the tent.
Having said that, we bought a pro Action Navada 8 for the next trip and we use this for 3 of our kids, and its perfect to just sleep in, and invested in some better airbeds.
Each pod will take a double airbed which is fine for couples or siblings.
Unfortunately unless you pitch it tightly the rain comes in through the mesh air vents in the pods.
An ok tent for the first timer but no good as a family tent in my opinion.
