5 Reviews of the Regatta 4 Man Two Room

By: Jesp74  Reason: I own(ed) one  Made in: 2014   Rating:

We have recently bought this tent in the sale. As a novice camper, I found it easy to put up and take down. Plenty of room in the living area, we could easily stand up. As there is only the two of us, a double air bed fitted in the bedroom no problem with extra space for storage. We think this tent is excellent value for money, loads of space, only fault is that the groundsheet in the living area should be sewed in. But although it was windy and rained quite heavy, we had no problems with it raining in. We hope to use this tent for many years to come

Bought this from Argos in the sale for £59.99. What a great little tent for the money. Used it last weekend for Camp Bestival in Dorset and although we didn't need to test the waterproof ability of the tent, we found it easy to erect and dismantle (although found getting it all back in the bag proved impossible - will try again at home)

Loved the fact that we could stand up inside to dress and wash (my OH is 6'2' and he didn't need to duck in the centre.

Plenty of space for the 2 of us and all our belongings. Only thing I would say could be improved is if the groundsheet in the living area was sewn in, other than that, great tent for the money.

Goodbye, faithful Argos tent, we enjoyed our 4 summers in you!

We have finally put this tent out to pasture after buying it to see whether we liked camping (we did!). It was pretty amazing, given that it only cost about £90.

Pro: It's really quick to put up, and easily done by this 5'2' woman. The porch flap (door) is massive and 4 of us have sat under it in the rain. It packs away into a tiny bag (which our new one doesn't - and we're realising now what a bonus this was). Finally, it has good head-height in the main area, so you don't bang your head whilst pottering about.

Cons: the only real one is that our model didn't have a sewn-in groundsheet, and the rain flaps didn't quite reach the ground, so rain often crept in. I think newer models have fixed this, though. It also often looked a bit out of shape, but that's just aesthetic.

Overall, a great starter tent, and I'd highly recommend it. Ours only got retired as it finally started to leak on a seam (and secretly, I'd always coveted an Outwell)

We had 3 days away and kept dry and warm. It was quite windy but the tent stood up to the wind very well, it was very quick and easy to pitch (15/20 minutes) and there is plenty of room in the living area. Unlike Tinkerbelle we had no problems with the living area groundsheet it was just the right size and we agree that for the price it is excellent value and definitely a good buy.

This tent was waterproof and warm. It was easy to erect but a major problem came with the fact that the groundsheet is only sewn into the bedroom area not the living area. We did have problems trying to fit the groundsheet as it appears to be too small. We spent two nights in it and overall for the price we feel it was a good buy. We rang Argos and they gave us another groundsheet so all should be well
